She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993 and completed her training at Crozer Keystone Family Medicine Residency Program in 1996. It is my belief that every person, from all walks of life, has their own struggles with mental health. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York, fluent in English and Arabic. I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hofstra University, and soon after went on to earn a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY College of Old Westbury. I had the opportunity to complete a clinical internship at Rikers Island working with the incarcerated population. Working with such a complex and diverse population not only allowed me to learn the true value of therapy but, that therapy truly works best when customized to the needs of the individual.
