Dr. Suneha Sundaram is a passionate Internal Medicine doctor, specializing in adult acute and
chronic medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies in Anthropology at UNC Chapel Hill
before receiving her medical degree from St. George’s University. She completed her residency
training at ECU Brody School of Medicine/Vidant Medical Center. Her rich professional journey

Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular disease, Madeeha Saeed, MD, FACC, RPVI, specializes in all aspects of cardiovascular disease, including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and interventional cardiology, at Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, and Dunn, North Carolina. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases, Dhirenkumar Shah, MD, FACC, has been serving the triangle community since joining Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Dunn, and Benson, North Carolina, in 1991. As a leader within the practice, he enjoys empowering people to learn and grow to their full potential, and this is also true with his patients and their understanding of their cardiac health.  

He completed his studies at P.J. Science College in Surat, India, and the Government Medical College, South Gujarat University, in India. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Shah also specializes in Nuclear Cardiology and Pacemaker Insertion.

Dr. Shah has been a longtime supporter of area students and a promoter of health care education. He takes an active interest in opening the doors to educational opportunities for young people who one day seek to work in the medical field and always supports ongoing educational opportunities for staff. 

When he is not seeing patients, you will find Dr. Shah spending time with his grandchildren and family.  He also enjoys cultural dance productions.  For many years, Dr. Shah was active in community charities, such as the Open Door Clinic and Urban Ministries of Wake County.

Pratik Desai, MD, FACC, has been treating patients of Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Dunn, and Benson, North Carolina, since 2000. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Vascular Medicine and Biology, and Nuclear Cardiology. He completed his studies at Baroda Medical College, M.S. University in Vadodara, India. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, where he also completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology.     

Dr. Desai has an energetic personality and enjoys developing lasting relationships with his patients. He is passionate about furthering development in the vascular services clinic. Dr. Desai works with Vein and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) patients, specializing in Laser Ablation, Varithena®, and Venaseal®  procedures.

Sunil Desai, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist with Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, and Dunn, North Carolina. He has been a physician with Cary Cardiology since 2000 and was previously in private cardiology practice in Goldsboro, North Carolina.  

Dr. Desai completed his studies at C.N. Vidyalaya in Ahmedabad, India, and the Government Medical College in Surat, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the New York Medical College, Lincoln Medical Center Affiliation, in the Bronx, New York, and his fellowship in cardiology at the New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital Center and Westchester County/Lincoln Medical Center in New York. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Nuclear Cardiology.

Hamid Bahrami, MD, FACC, RPVI, is a skilled, board-certified interventional cardiologist at Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary and Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. 

Dr. Bahrami specializes in all aspects of cardiovascular disease, with dedicated training in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and aortic valve disease. An avid believer in practicing evidence-based medicine, he is devoted to keeping up with the latest developments in the cardiovascular space and using new technologies. Versed in intravascular imaging and physiologic testing, Dr. Bahrami strives to provide patients with the best outcomes with any interventional procedure.

Dr. Bahrami earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2015. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Joshua Macomber, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, and Dunn, North Carolina. He has been a physician with Cary Cardiology since 2003 and was previously in private cardiology practices in Worcester, Ayer, and Marlborough, Massachusetts.  

Dr. Macomber completed his studies, residency, and fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Medical Center in Worcester.

He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology. His specialty training includes cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Pavlo Netrebko, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology. He joined Cary Cardiology, P.A., in Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Dunn, and Benson, North Carolina, in 2008. 

He obtained his medical degree from the Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy in Ukraine, where he graduated with distinction. He completed his internal medicine residency at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, and his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Geisinger Clinic in Pennsylvania.  

He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. His main area of expertise is in the management of cardiac arrhythmias with a special interest in atrial fibrillation ablation.  

Dr. Netrebko is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, American College of Physicians, American Heart Association, American Society of Echocardiography, Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, and Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
