Education has always played a central role in Dr. Taff’s life. She earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Dr. Taff went on to complete her residency at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. She also completed a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at NYU Langone Medical Center, and was again selected to serve as Chief Fellow for Hematology/Oncology. 

While there, Dr. Taff was named Fellow of the Year, and selected to participate in the highly competitive research Conference  ASCO/AACR Workshop in Methods in Clinical Cancer Research in Vail, Colorado, and worked the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. He’s also completed numerous fellowships, including a fellowship in hand surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Milone earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and won the school’s Orthopaedic Research Prize. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at New York University Langone Orthopedics in New York City and went on to finish a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Hitesh Patel, MD is a board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and obesity medicine. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993 and completed her training at Crozer Keystone Family Medicine Residency Program in 1996. She is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician and has practiced primary care for the past 30 years in the Philadelphia region.
