After earning his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten, Dr. Banks relocated to the United States. He went through his residency training at George Washington Hubbard Hospital through Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Stacey Guan, MD, is a family medicine physician practicing at Yi Wellness, located in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Ye received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. She earned an MD and MPH at St George’s University School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Guan and her husband, Dr. Wang, moved to Ohio, where they completed their medical training at the Ohio State University School of Medicine. Dr. Guan received extensive training in general medicine, adolescent health, women’s health, dermatological conditions, outpatient surgical procedures, geriatric care, and nutritional counseling for a healthy lifestyle and healthy body weight. Skin health has always been a strong interest for Dr. Guan; after completing her residency training at OSU, she continued to pursue training in treating chronic skin conditions and chronic wound management. She is a certified wound care specialist by the American Wound Care Society. Dr. Guan has experience overseeing 15 chronic wound facilities in the Columbus area to provide weekly management of chronic skin conditions and chronic wounds. Her valuable wound care background allows her to understand skin care literally “from the inside out.” Dr. Guan understands that the skin is the largest human organ, and it plays an essential role in protecting us from the environment. Skin conditions are unlike other chronic medical conditions in that we can see our skin’s health. Poor skin health can affect us physically and emotionally. Dr. Guan is certified by the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine for Advanced Aesthetic Medicine. She is trained in facial analysis, and each patient will receive a complimentary skin analysis to evaluate the skin tone, texture, pore size, wrinkles, presence of bacteria in case of acne, and laxity due to aging. Dr. Guan will then develop an individual plan with each patient to address their concerns. Dr. Guan is trained in dermal fillers and botox; she believes in a “less is more” approach to enhance but not overwhelm natural beauty. Dr. Guan is also trained in cosmeceuticals; she believes in simple but effective skincare. She will personalize a skin care regimen based on each patient’s skin concerns.
Dr. Guan is especially passionate about treating hyperpigmentation, melasma, and acne scars. One’s skin type is decided by the amount of melanin in the skin layer. Although laser devices have been on the market for many years and are very effective in treating these unpleasant dark spots, they are not friendly to darker skin types.
The risk of post-inflammatory response (laser treatment making the spot darker) is about 40 % if not operated with extreme caution. Dr. Guan has done extensive research on laser treatments on patients with skin type 3 and above, her approach in addition to her state-of-the-art Pico Laser, is able to reduce the risk of PIH from 40% to less than 4 %. Dr. Guan will combine oral, topical, and laser treatments to target different hyperpigmentation and skin concerns.
Dr. Guan is committed to providing wellness care for everyone without needing insurance. Her clinic provides services for annual physical labs to screen for high cholesterol, diabetes, liver, and kidney conditions.
