After earning his medical degree, Dr. Abu-Mahfouz completed a rotating internship at Zarka Governmental Hospital in Zarka, Jordan. He went on to complete his first internal medicine residency at Jordan University Hospital in Amman, Jordan.
Next, Dr. Abu-Mahfouz completed an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He finished a gastroenterology fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit and then returned to Henry Ford Hospital to complete a general cardiology fellowship.
Dr. Abu-Mahfouz furthered his specialized cardiology training with an interventional cardiology fellowship at Wayne State University.

Tahir Mohamed, MD, PhD, FACC, FSCAI, is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center in Dearborn, Detroit, and Trenton, Michigan.
Dr. Mohamed holds multiple board certifications, including interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) angiography.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum in Khartoum, Sudan, Dr. Mohamed completed his internal medicine residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.
Dr. Mohamed went on to complete his fellowship training in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He’s also a graduate of the nuclear medicine program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and has a PhD from Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden.
In addition to his patient care at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center, Dr. Mohamed is the associate program director of advanced cardiac imaging at Harper University Hospital in Detroit. He’s also a clinical professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU-SOM).

Board-certified physician Omar Ali, MD, FACC, RPVI, is a leading interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease specialist at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center. Dr. Ali provides compassionate, patient-driven care in offices in Dearborn, Detroit, and Trenton, Michigan, and a diagnostic and imaging center in Trenton.
With board certifications in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and vascular imaging, Dr. Ali has the wide-ranging skills to provide skilled imaging, diagnostics, and treatment services to patients who have cardiovascular conditions and issues.
Dr. Ali earned his medical degree at the University of Khartoum, in Khartoum, Sudan. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Syracuse, New York. He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at SUNY in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr Neelum Gupta is a board-certified internal medicine physician who brings more than 20 years experience to Associated Physicians Group, PLC in Berkley Michigan.
She has extensive experience in treating a wide range of complex medical issues.
She completed her medical training at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center.
She has privileges at Beaumont Hospital but her patients can be treated at many other facilities throughout southeast Michigan.
Dr Gupta is a member of several medical organizations including the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
