William Condrell, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Condrell Primary Care in Washington, DC, and Bethesda, Maryland. He enjoys being a physician and genuinely looks forward to seeing his patients every day.

Dr. Condrell earned his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Pomona College in Claremont, California. He then graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a Master of Science before earning his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After graduating, he completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center. 

He opened Condrell Primary Care in 1999. Dr. Condrell specializes in acute and urgent care, adolescent medicine, annual physicals, cardiac evaluations, preventative health, sports injuries, and vaccinations. 

Dr. Condrell believes it is most important to get to know his patients and encourages them to ask questions, so he fully understands their needs. He creates a relationship with patients that allows their participation in determining treatment options. His excellence is recognized by many, as he was awarded Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine in 2014 and 2017, as well as by Consumer Checkbook. 

Dr. Condrell lives in Warrenton, Virginia, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer, cycling, horseback riding, skiing, and doing ceramics. His favorite books include “Love in the Time of Cholera” and “7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” and some of his favorite artists are James Taylor, David Gray, and Natalie Merchant.

Ndubuisi Okafor, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 20 years of experience. At his practice, Okafor Medical Associates, located in Washington, DC, Dr. Okafor offers patients compassionate care for a variety of conditions including chronic disease management, ADHD, and internal medicine concerns as a leading primary care physician.

Dr. Okafor obtained his medical degree from the Howard University Hospital and is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also specially trained in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

Dr. Okafor is a registered Civil Surgeon with the United States Center for Immigration Services, so he can provide Immigration Medical examinations with all the required tests in the facility. In addition, is a Registered Certified Medical Examiner with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, so he can provide medical examination and certification for commercial motor vehicle drivers.

When he is not treating his patients, Dr. Okafor enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his hobbies which include football, soccer, and running. Dr. Okafor also speaks English, Ibo, Yoruba, and Hausa.

Hitesh Patel, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He practices at Cardiology Associates of Frederick in Frederick, Maryland, and is affiliated with Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Patel graduated Magna Cum Laude in just three years from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland Medical School.

He completed his internal medicine residency and subsequently a Cardiology Fellowship at Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a focus on general cardiology.

Steven Fisher, MD, FACC, is a skilled cardiologist who is board-certified in cardiovascular disease. 
Dr. Fisher sees patients at Cardiology Associates of Frederick in Frederick, Maryland and is also affiliated with Frederick Memorial Hospital. 

Dr. Fisher graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Biology and Anthropology. He also obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Following his medical education, Dr. Fisher completed an internal medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed a clinical and research Cardiology Fellowship at the Medical Center of/ University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. 

Dr. Fisher worked as a cardiologist and  NIH funded research scientist at academic medical centers (AMC) for 30 years prior to joining Cardiology Associates of Frederick, initially  in Cleveland , OH and subsequently at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

He was active in all activities at the AMC including teaching/training  physicians and cardiologists of the future, developing new understanding of and therapies for cardiovascular disease,  and taking care of patients as a general cardiologist. Patients of Dr. Fisher can expect the highest level of patient-centered cardiology care.

Samir Ahuja, MD, is a skilled cardiologist who has achieved board certification in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasonography (RPVI/ARDMS). Dr. Ahuja sees patients at  Cardiology Associates of Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. He is also affiliated with Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Ahuja graduated from the accelerated/combined six-year BS/MD program completing two years at Pennsylvania State University and then four years at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency and a one-year advanced fellowship in cardiomyopathy and heart failure at Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Ahuja then fulfilled his general cardiology fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-University Hospital. He then completed his cardiac and peripheral interventional fellowship at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He is proud to bring his expertise to his practice at Cardiology Associates of Frederick and is passionate about helping patients improve their cardiovascular health.

Swapna Kanuri, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist at Cardiology Associates of Frederick in Frederick, Maryland. She’s board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasonography.

After graduating from Shri B.M. Patil Medical College and Hospital Research Center in Vijayapura, Karnataka, India, Dr. Kanuri relocated to the United States to complete her internal medicine residency at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She remained in Omaha for her fellowship training in cardiology with a specialization in noninvasive cardiology.  

With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Kanuri specializes in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions including heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and acute coronary syndrome. She also provides expert care for conditions that increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Dr. Kanuri is affiliated with Frederick Health Hospital, previously known as Frederick Memorial Hospital. To provide excellent health care to the diverse community. 

At Cardiology Associates of Frederick, Dr. Kunari takes a patient-centered approach to care. She spends time talking to her patients and educating them about their diagnosis and her treatment recommendations so they can take a proactive role in their care and personal health.
