Dr. Keyvan Shirazi, MD, is a highly experienced physician who has been providing comprehensive primary care and internal medicine services to patients throughout Southern California for more than 24 years. After completing his medical training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Shirazi returned to his hometown in Southern California to begin his medical career. Since 2002, he has been an integral part of the San Fernando Valley medical community, caring for generations of patients and their families.
Dr. Shirazi maintains hospital privileges at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, where he serves as Medical Director and plays an active leadership role in quality improvement initiatives, utilization review, and patient care management. As a Physician Advisor, he works closely with case management teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure the highest standards of care.
Recognizing the growing healthcare needs of seniors and medically complex patients, Dr. Shirazi has devoted much of his career to the care of frail and elderly individuals. He serves as Medical Director at Los Angeles Jewish Health, where he has provided compassionate care for more than two decades. He also holds privileges at the Joyce Eisenberg Keefer Medical Center and works closely with skilled nursing facilities throughout the region.
A Certified Medical Director, Dr. Shirazi has extensive experience in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, post-acute care, and end-of-life care. His unique ability to coordinate care across the office, hospital, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings allows his patients to benefit from continuity of care that is increasingly rare in modern medicine.
