I am very proud and honored to be a practicing physician in your community. My staff and I believe in providing the best medical care for our patients. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis. I graduated from Creighton Medical School in Omaha, Nebraska and completed my residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Louisiana State University - at Charity Hospital, in New Orleans. For five years, I was Chief of Urgent Care at Kaiser Permenente for the Dallas Region. Since 1997, I have been an attending Physician at Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) in Garland, TX - A Division of Parkland Health and Hospital System. Currently, I am an attending physician at Children’s Hospital. In addition, I have hospital privileges at Richardson’s Regional Medical Center. When I am not in my office, I am with my two children who give me deep joy and happiness. We currently live in Richardson Texas.

Shane Lashley is a facilitator who focuses on creating lifestyle plans for the patients of Healing Hands Holistic Health. Under the direction and oversight of Dr. Melita, Shane uses various lifestyle and functional assessments, nutritional evaluations, and specific lab tests to create a customized lifestyle and nutrition plan for each patient.  

Prior to entering the health profession, Shane spent more than 20 years as a consultant to CEO’s, entrepreneurs, and attorneys regarding innovation, intellectual property, and financial management in hyper-growth companies.

It was in that world that Shane lost his health and learned firsthand the value of proper self-care. After restoring his own health, Shane decided to pursue an advanced education in health topics that would allow him to serve as a consultant to both physicians and patients. He founded a concierge lifestyle medicine consulting practice for physicians and clients, established a clientele from around Texas, and in 2019, joined forces with Dr. Melita Williams to help launch Healing Hands Holistic Health.

Shane earned two master’s degrees from the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management: a master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Management specializing in Corporate Finance (M.Mgt.).

Harman P. Dr. Harman P. Kaur has trained at some of the best training programs in the country. Before coming to the US, she finished medical school at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India where she graduated in the Top 10% of her class. She completed her internship at the Internal Medicine Residency Program in Spokane, Washington (an affiliate of the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA) and then her Residency at SUNY-Buffalo Internal Medicine Residency Program in Buffalo, NY. Her Fellowship Training in Oncology was at the nationally - acclaimed Wilmot Cancer Institute in Rochester, NY. This experienced was followed with a Faculty Position at Roswell Park Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY before moving to the Dallas area with her family. She has also co-authored various book chapters in medical textbooks which are used in teaching programs across the country.

Dr. Kaur is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her free time, Dr. Kaur enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering time at the local Sikh Temple where she focuses on her faith, Sikhism. 

Anthony Nebor, MD, is a well-trained, board-certified pulmonologist and critical care physician at Fivestar Pulmonary Associates. He brings compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated care to patients at the office in Allen, Plano, and Mckinney, Texas, and he consistently strives to improve healthcare delivery in a variety of clinical settings. 

Dr. Nebor has practiced in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He is a graduate of the University of Benin Medical School in Nigeria, and he completed a master’s degree in clinical microbiology at Queen Mary University in London. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. John’s hospital in Detroit, and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.

Raj Kakar, MD, is a snoring and sleep apnea specialist at Dallas Sleep, with locations in Plano and McKinney, Texas, who absolutely loves his work. I view medicine as my calling; primary care is my passion because it combines restoration, education, counseling, and advocacy. For over 30 years, I have been dedicated to public health in communities worldwide, including West Africa and Haiti. In the last 19 years, I have worked as a board-certified internist in Dallas and Austin, focusing on reducing health disparities related to COVID-19, hypertension, diabetes, and HIV.

Shahnaz Begum, MD, FACC, is a Board-certified cardiovascular disease specialist. She is an experienced physician who has been practicing cardiology for over 15 years. 

Dr. Begum received her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical College in New York. She subsequently completed 3 years of training in Internal Medicine followed by another 3 years of specialized training in Cardiovascular disease/cardiology. She then worked at SUNY Downstate as a faculty physician and Assistant Professor of Cardiology until she moved to Dallas. After that she worked at Texas Health Resource and Plano Presbyterian Hospital for several years as an attending Cardiologist. Since then, she has been providing outstanding cardiac care at Heart Care located in Frisco, Texas. 

Dr. Begum has exceptional knowledge and skills. She excels in diagnosing and treating heart conditions including heart failure, coronary artery disease (CAD), valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and many more. Pradeep Parihar, MD has devoted his medical career to family medicine, with a subspecialty in sports medicine, to help patients at Express Family Clinic in Allen, Texas, lead long and active lives. Katherine, a family nurse practitioner, has over 10 years of health care experience. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care to every patient.

Katherine received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in psychology in 2012 at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She continued her education at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she received her family nurse practitioner credential and Master of Science in Nursing. Throughout her career, Katherine has cared for children with autism and spent many years working as a registered nurse in intensive care and interventional radiology.

With this experience, Katherine founded Grace Vitale Wellness, offering urgent care, chronic disease management, vaccines, minor procedures, drug screenings, and acute care services.
