Board-certified family physician Naz Wahab, MD, and her team at Wound Care Experts offer a progressive and integrative approach to medicine at their practice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Naz Wahab is a Board-certified physician and a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association who has practiced in Southern Nevada since 2003.  After completion of her residency training, she established her family medicine practice in Las Vegas.  During this time, she encountered and treated countless patients.  This gave her a sense of the gaps in patient care in our community.  

One such gap was the lack of proper wound care.  Hoping to do her part to meet this need, she began to offer these services.  Thus, Wound Care Experts was born, and over the past 20 years has grown into a multimodal wound care and tissue regeneration service line.  Today, Dr. Wahab and her team of providers offer the Las Vegas area modern, evidence-based, and advanced wound healing modalities.  Examples include macrophage technology, negative pressure wound therapy, hyperbaric & topical oxygen therapy, near-infrared spectroscopy and stem cell therapy.

There is nothing I take more seriously than the practice of medicine and have been doing it in the Las Vegas area since 2000. I enjoy not only talking and listening to my patients, but developing close personal relationships with them – something I believe is very important, but often missing in today’s typical healthcare settings (outpatient and inpatient). Spending ample time to learn about each patient is part of the crucial foundation that formulates a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan. Although the technologies are important, ultimately, what is most beneficial for a patient is having a physician with good clinical judgment, skills and experience, as well as the willingness to spend the time getting to know the detailed history of the patient in order to integrate the information from those technologies into the big picture. Dr. Justin Limtong is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialized focus on Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction. His journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He then earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and went on to complete his residency from Broward Health Medical Center, a preeminent Level 1 trauma center located in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During his tenure here, he embraced the role of chief resident in Orthopedic Surgery, a responsibility that saw him fine-tune his surgical skills and amass comprehensive expertise spanning the spectrum of Orthopedic Surgery.

Dr. Limtong then completed his fellowship in total joint arthroplasty at the esteemed Cleveland Clinic Florida. He performs a spectrum of advanced procedures including the precision of robotically assisted total and partial knee replacements, muscle sparing Direct Anterior hip replacements, as well as revision total knee and hip arthroplasty. His versatility also encompasses managing fractures and other orthopedic injuries.

Dr. Ben Kermani has been practicing internal medicine for 27 years in the Las Vegas area. He believes in supportive, personalized care that creates a trusting partnership with his patients. He has a keen interest in preventive medicine and evidence-based pharmacologic therapies and has performed research into the role of mitochondria in cell aging.

Dr. Kermani received his doctor of medicine from the University of Santiago School of Medicine. Further training included an externship at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and an internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada.

Vikas Sayal, MD, FCCP, is board certified in Pulmonary medicine, and Critical Care medicine and experienced in Sleep medicine for 15 years. He’s the founder of Pulmonology Group- Lung Specialist in Las Vegas, Henderson, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona, a medical practice that specializes in treating the full range of lung and respiratory conditions. Dr. Sayal is also on staff at most hospitals in the area and serves as a intensivist and pulmonologist at different hospitals.

Dr. Sayal trained at the world-renowned Yale University, where he received fellowship training in Pulmonary medicine, then went on to complete his fellowship in Critical Care at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He did his transitional year residency at Tufts University, followed by an Internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey.

Dr. Sayal has extensive experience in pulmonary and critical care at several hospitals and currently serves as Chair of Pulmonary and Critical Care services at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, Bullhead City, AZ .

He’s the author of numerous research papers and articles and continues to serve in various leadership roles.
