Dr. Ben Kermani has been practicing internal medicine for 27 years in the Las Vegas area. He believes in supportive, personalized care that creates a trusting partnership with his patients. He has a keen interest in preventive medicine and evidence-based pharmacologic therapies and has performed research into the role of mitochondria in cell aging.

Dr. Kermani received his doctor of medicine from the University of Santiago School of Medicine. Further training included an externship at the prestigious Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and an internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada.

Dr. Kermani has the distinguished honor of being designated as a Premium Provider by UnitedHealth. Additionally, he has ranked in the 98th percentile in Quality of Care by Medicare in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Dr. Kermani is also involved in academia, holding a preceptorship for Touro University medical students. In addition, he served on the Dignity Health SRQCN Board of Managers.

Dr. Azin Azma is a board certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist. Dr. Azma has been providing exceptional care to the Las Vegas community for almost a decade. She has been recognized by her patients and peers as a top physician numerous times.

Dr. Azma graduated with honors and summa cum laude with a degree in Economics and pre-medicine from the University of Kansas in 2004. She went on to attend the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating in 2008 with her medical degree. Dr. Azma completed her Neurology residency and Clinical Neurology fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, working with many of the top neurologists during her training. 

After relocating to Las Vegas in 2013, Dr. Azma has been a physician at MountainView Hospital for the past ten years. She has been the Chair of Neurology and Stroke Director at MountainView since 2013. Dr. Azma also works with Internal Medicine residents at the hospital, and enjoys teaching them about the practice of neurology.

There is nothing I take more seriously than the practice of medicine and have been doing it in the Las Vegas area since 2000. I enjoy not only talking and listening to my patients, but developing close personal relationships with them – something I believe is very important, but often missing in today’s typical healthcare settings (outpatient and inpatient). Spending ample time to learn about each patient is part of the crucial foundation that formulates a correct diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan. My journey to mental healthcare

I chose this field because I have always been drawn to helping people through the most difficult parts of their lives. I have seen how deeply mental health challenges affect the mind, body, relationships, and sense of direction. Being able to help someone feel more grounded, more hopeful, and more themselves again is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

Our first session is simple, comfortable, and focused on what matters most to you. We talk about what you are feeling, what has been hard, and what you want your life to look like. Willoughby, Jr., MD, is uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive care to women and men living in the Las Vegas area. From there he received his medical training in Ann Arbor, Michigan, first finishing his internal medicine internship and residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, then completing his pulmonary medicine fellowship at University Hospital, University of Michigan.
