About Ramzan Zakir, MD, RPVI, FACC, FSCAI

Ramzan M. Zakir, MD, RPVI, FACC, FSCAI, is an interventional vascular specialist at Cardiac & Vascular Interventions of New Jersey. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments for patients in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who suffer from vascular disease.

Dr. Zakir is recognized by the International Association of Top Professionals as the Top Interventional Cardiologist of the Year for 2021. He is currently the Director of High-Risk PCI and Research at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas University Hospital, practices at RWJPE Heart and Vascular Institute of Central Jersey, and is an invited speaker at regional and global conferences.

As a leader in interventional cardiology, he serves as principal investigator of several clinical trials to enhance the management of patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and venous disease.
