Gitendra Rajiyah, MD, is a double-board-certified internal medicine physician and cardiologist at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, serving patients at the East Orange, New Jersey, office on Evergreen Place. The practice also has offices in West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Newark, and Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Dr. Rajiyah studied at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He then spent several years gaining experience in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, neurology, geriatrics, and psychology.
In 1988, Dr. Rajiyah enrolled at the University of London in the United Kingdom and completed an internal medicine and psychiatry fellowship at the University College Hospital. He moved to the United States the following year and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark.
Dr. Rajiyah also spent one year as a dedicated researcher under the guidance of Timothy Reagan, MD, chairman of the Division of Cardiology at New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) Rutgers Health. He also completed a cardiology fellowship, serving patients at several hospitals throughout New Jersey.
Dr. Rajiyah is board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He’s also a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the British Medical Association, and the Sri Lanka Medical Association.

Michael Liou, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is a skilled, board certified interventional cardiologist practicing at Chinatown Cardiology P.C., which has locations in Flushing, Brooklyn, Chinatown, and the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Dr. Liou earned his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine after completing the prestigious Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program at CUNY City College. He completed his post-graduated training in Internal Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital, and Cardiology/Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Siu has expertise in general cardiology, multi-modality cardiac imaging, and vascular imaging. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Siu is highly skilled in cardiac catheterizations and peripheral vascular interventions, and management of complex coronary/valvular heart disease. He has proven experience in private practice and in the academic setting, with focus on providing the highest quality care and most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment strategies. Dr. Jacqueline Chan received her Medical Degree from New York Medical College. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in addition to a chief resident year at the former St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center. Dr. Chan began her Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center and transitioned to New York Methodist Hospital to complete her clinical training. She is proficient in exercise treadmill stress test, echocardiography, nuclear myocardial perfusion scan, and peripheral vascular duplex. Dr. Chan completed training as a vein specialist and performs radiofrequency venous ablation in our ambulatory procedure lab. Currently, she is the Medical Director of Echocardiography and Vascular Imaging for our accredited ICAEL and ACR facility. Dr. Chan is multi-board certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Diseases.
