Dr. Milone was born in Oceanside, New York, and was the valedictorian at Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York. Dr. Milone earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and won the school’s Orthopaedic Research Prize. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at New York University Langone Orthopedics in New York City and went on to finish a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
As an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Milone stays connected to his peers and up-to-date on the latest developments in his field. He’s also passionate about academic and research efforts in orthopaedic surgery and has contributed to numerous textbooks, given poster and podium presentations, and is published in several leading peer-reviewed academic journals, including the Journal of Hand Surgery.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Milone stays active and healthy by exercising with Peloton® and playing golf.
