Dr. Mikhail Kapchits, MD

Mikhail Kapchits, MD, is an accomplished cardiologist and a co-founder of Advanced Medical Care. Through his role at the practice, Dr. Kapchits assists patients from Brighton Beach (Brooklyn) and Forest Hills (Queens), New York. 

Education has always shaped Dr. Kapchits’ life. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Moscow Medical Stomatological Institute in Russia and remained in his nation of birth to complete his first internship. He also completed internships in internal medicine at Municipal Hospital #50, known as Moscow Central Clinical Hospital, in Moscow, Russia, and at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. 

A residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York rounded out Dr. Kapchits’ training. He continues seeking opportunities to expand his knowledge and skill set in all aspects of neurology. Dr. Kapchits is also a board-certified cardiologist. 

In addition, Dr. Kapchits is presently affiliated with New York-Presbyterian/Queens Hospital, Northwell Health, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens. 

Dr. Kapchits is passionate about the importance of delivering the highest standard of care to those who rely on him. He takes the time to build true bonds with his patients, understanding that outstanding care requires personal connections.
