I am a board-certified Physician Associate through the NCCPA. Early on I developed an interest in patient care which led me to the PA profession. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology at ASU and later went on to complete PA school at A.T Still University.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with family, watching thrillers, and journaling. I grew up in Arizona where the summers are hot and long, but I can still find ways to enjoy wandering trails and exploring the desert landscapes.

Zaher Akkad, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist at Affiliated Cardiologists of Arizona, with four locations in Phoenix, Maricopa, Goodyear, and Chandler, Arizona. Shishir Murarka, MD, is the Chief of Cardiology at Banner Estrella Medical Center.

Dr. Faran Bashir received his training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, University of California, Irvine, and the University of Colorado in Denver. Dr. Bashir is board certified in the fields of cardiovascular diseases, Nuclear and Interventional Cardiology. Additionally, he has received specialized training in the performance of intracardiac echocardiography, percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defects, valvuloplasty and Watchman device implantation. He has presented several studies at national Cardiology meetings and has published many journal articles in major Cardiology journals.

Dr. Bashir is currently serving as Chief of Cardiology and CVT Surgery at Banner Estrella Medical Center. He also holds the position of Clinical Assistant professor of Medicine at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix. He is a member of faculty both in the Cardiology as well as Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Programs and is actively involved in teaching future cardiologists. Daniel Skinner, MD, is board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. He provides expert care at Skin Cancer Specialists, located in Mesa, Arizona.

Dr. Skinner is a 5th-generation Arizonan who grew up in Mesa and graduated from Mountain View High School. He went on to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he graduated with a degree in business management. He then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where he developed an interest in dermatologic surgery. 

During medical school, he was a leader and volunteer in many different medical school organizations. He completed a one-year internship in internal medicine at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and a three-year dermatology residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He has presented research at many local and national meetings and has published research on the use of Mohs surgery for rare skin cancer, as well as a book chapter on dermabrasion. 

Dr. Skinner concluded his training with an intensive one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic and dermatologic surgery in Birmingham, Alabama, with Dr. Christopher Harmon, one of the nation's leading Mohs surgeons. Dr. Skinner has performed over 10,000 skin cancer surgeries. In addition to training in Mohs surgery and skin cancer removal, he has expertise in facial reconstruction after skin cancer removal.

Dr. Skinner is currently the president of the Phoenix Dermatology Society and on the board of directors of the Arizona Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society. In addition, he is very active in volunteer work for his church and enjoys spending time playing and watching sports.

When he is not at work, Dr. Skinner enjoys spending time with his wife, Marie, and their six children.
