Dr. Barry Buffman has been practicing since 1980 in internal medicine with a specialty in urology. He graduated from the Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL and practices with a focus on a multitude of urological issues, such as sexual dysfunction, bladder, and prostate conditions. In addition, Dr. Buffman is involved with medical research for various urological conditions. In his spare time Dr. Buffman has a passion for teleplay/screenplay, musical composition, guitar, and piano.
Dr. Shelly Bagai Lapsi, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Medical Director for Omni Eye Care, with convenient locations in Covina and El Monte, California. With her extensive training, Dr. Lapsi is committed to providing the highest quality of ophthalmic care to her patients, utilizing the most recent medical and surgical advances. Her philosophy is to be actively engaged and dedicated to delivering this mission to her patients.
She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine, nationally recognized for its excellent training programs. Subsequently, she completed her residency at the University of Washington Department of Ophthalmology, a rigorous, top-tier program emphasizing a strong foundation in medical and surgical ophthalmology. At the University of Washington, she trained with many of the world’s most renowned ophthalmologists considered to be pioneers in the field.
Dr. Lapsi’s areas of interest include cataract surgery and glaucoma. Additionally, diabetic screening and macular degeneration care are central to her patient-centric approach. First and foremost, the goal of Omni Eye Care is to assist patients in maintaining excellent vision and eye health.

She completed her residency in Hematology at Morales Meseguer Hospital in Murcia, Spain in 2008. While working as a hematologist, she graduated cum laude in 2011 with her Ph.D. in Pharmacogenetics from the University of Murcia, Spain, and the Wellcome Sanger Institute in Cambridge, UK. She then completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Pharmaceutical Sciences department of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN in 2015.

Since opening the doors in 2003, Dr. Bhuiya has established a thriving multi-specialty medical office in the heart of the Conejo Valley. Dr. Bhuiya has over two decades of experience and an extremely refined technique. His high level of skill and artistic reputation has lead to the opening of an office in San Fernando. Dr. Bhuiya graduated University of Nevada School of Medicine and then went to USC for his internship. Afterward, he finished his residency in New York at Columbia University.
Dr. Bhuiya specializes in cosmetic procedures, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, internal medicine and addiction medicine (drug and alcohol detox). His mission is to help his patients achieve their medical goals through a multi-specialty approach.

Tessa Shuler, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner and former Registered Nurse; she worked in the Intensive Care Unit for 7 years. She received her BSN from the University of Hawaii, Manoa and her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Channel Islands. Her experience as an RN in the high intensity environment of critical care gave her the ability to assess and prioritize patient needs, as well as to care for the whole patient and their families. Caring for critically ill patients gave her the understanding of the importance of overall health maintenance and preventative care. She strives to deeply educate patients and families about their health, diagnoses, and medications in order to optimize their health. She values patients’ ideas and knowledge of their own health, and works to empower them to live as healthfully as possible.
When not working, she strives to be outside as often as possible: hiking, biking, and chasing after her two young sons among all the nature we have available in our county.
Christopher James Brana was born and raised in the Inland Empire of Southern California. During high school and college years he worked in his family’s Biomedical Engineering Company specializing in servicing renal replacement technology/equipment.
He went on to complete his bachelors in science and medical training at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. Thereafter, he began residency at St. Barnabas Hospital. As a PGY1, he received a Peer to Peer Award for Best Physician.
While conducting research, he assisted in publishing a study analyzing inner city patients undergoing hepatitis C therapy. As a PGY2, he began to design and execute retrospective studies co-authoring in 8 posters, which were presented at the 2018 ACG meeting. During the 2018 SBH Resident Research Day, he presented 5 posters, of those presented one was awarded, “Best Clinical Research Award”.
During the last year as a PGY-3, he received the Ronald Ciubotaru Award for being an exceptional clinician, dedicated mentor and valued colleague, characterized by integrity and humility and deeply committed to teaching and the delivery of compassionate care.
Looking to the future, Christopher remains dedicated to his patient centered care and desires to remain a healer and advocate for his patients at Link Integrated Healthcare.
