About Adria Nichols
Adria Denise is a New York native, Afro-Latina Dominican, and Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student pursuing her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Empire State University with a specialization in childhood trauma. Hablo Español. Adria has experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in educational, community, and clinical settings. Her background includes youth case management in New York City public schools and supporting college students through academic stress, life transitions, and personal growth. Her therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, collaborative, and strengths-based. Adria is passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and family dynamics while fostering resilience, healing, and meaningful change in a safe, supportive environment.
