Kimball has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2009, beginning her journey as a healing practitioner at the Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, FL. It was there she discovered her passion for the healing arts, intutive work and somatic therapy, withing with the mind-body connection.
She continued her studies by training in medical massage at a San Francisco chiropractic clinic, and at a physical therapy outpatient clinic working alongside physical therapists and their team. She later gainned experience in offering massage at spas and added extensive training in Reiki and energetic healing.
“Tara definitely can work ones muscles to a new whole level. I came in with all types of knots and stresses and bulges. I mean you name I had it. I think I gave her a workout and it was the first time we met too. I left in such a positive and better mood, very relaxed and although my stress was not gone, it surely diminished a whole lot then when I had first arrived, So Good!”
As a therapist, I believe that I help people help themselves. I believe the answers are within an individual, couple or family, and my job is to ask questions that will help people hear those answers. Individuals are the experts of themselves and parents are the experts of their families. Therapy is a journey of discovery and healing. People have an amazing ability to heal, learn and grow. I believed that when I began doing therapy 27 years ago and I have that same strong belief today.
The children, individuals, couples and families I have worked with have been my best teachers and I learn and grow from every encounter. I also bring a strong systemic perspective to all of my work. No one is an island; we are all connected to others. Just like a whole spider web feels movement when even only one filament is touched, those that are connected to us feel our change, and that change affects change in them. That is one of the beauties of therapy.
If you are seeking guidance with improving your well-being help is here. As a therapist I believe you have the ability to find peace and I only seek to provide you with the necessary tools. I believe in empowering others and encouraging you to be the person that you have always sought to be. Many times we feel lost or broken but simply put this is not the way we want to define ourselves. By redefining ones belief system and rebuilding ones interpersonal tools each of us have the ability to improve and find the solace in our lives.
I have worked in varying populations from the inpatient setting assisting with severe mental disorders, to the outpatient environment assisting individuals with a varying list of diagnosis. I understand the stigma associated with mental health and believe in helping others to redefine what mental well-being truly is.
If you are ready to take control of your happiness and find the peace that your desire happiness awaits you.
I want to start by saying I am honored and excited about the opportunity to serve you or your family’s needs. I have been married since May of 1992 and in our marriage, my wife and I are blessed with three children. In 2016, I completed a 20 year Full-Time career in the U.S. Army where I have many of my own experiences concerning trauma, family hardships, deployments, separation, reintegration, and a global-cultural view of over 20 countries. My practice revolves around Systems Theory, Family Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. All of which I am able to integrate in to a Biblical counseling process. I have been serving clients globally since June 2015 and have extensive experience with relationship development/therapy, PTSD of veterans and civilians, parenting/co-parenting, trauma, loss/grief, addictions, anxiety, depression, men’s issues, and many others. I base my therapy techniques on Inter-Generational aspects, Emotional Focus Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment models.
“God has blessed our difficult marriage by bringing in Jason. He has been able to pinpoint some weaknesses in our marriage, as well as our personal lives. He also brings a great level of respect, gentleness, and professionalism to his work. I will continue to work with him!”

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional. I am a wife, mother and Air Force Veteran with a passion for working with trauma survivors. I served in the Air Force for 11 years and endured multiple deployments to various locations. As a Veteran, I understand the struggle of coming home from deployment and readjusting to "normal" life despite the experiences in a deployed location. It can be hard to find someone who understands the unique culture of the military life. After my separation in 2011, I experienced the other side as a military spouse and found a true passion in helping my fellow veterans and their families navigate their journey through life.
As someone who understands the struggles of dealing with anxiety and trauma experiences, I provide a safe, empathic, and understanding environment where we can explore your world, your struggles and how to bring the darkness into light.
Some people come to therapy to heal from specific experiences and others come to find peace and personal growth. I strive to create a warm, judgement free space ideal for psychological healing. I have been practicing Psychotherapy for over 10 years. I have been focused on becoming a Therapist since I was a young child. I relish in helping others find joy, and I am truly grateful to be of assistance in my role.

I am humbled to serve others with dignity, respect, and honor. I have enjoyed working with families for thirty-five years, twelve of which have been as a Marriage and Family therapist. As a therapist it has allowed me the ability to show up in the therapy room with not only life experiences but therapy tool knowledge such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative and Solution Focused strategies for each client to experience change and knowing it is possible with hard work and support.
My hobbies include cooking, singing, enjoying nature, and putting puzzles together. My dog assistant, Spunky, is very important to me as well. I love teaching, encouraging others to overcome hardships, finding, and experiencing hope. Serving and supporting others brings me pleasure and gratefulness. My personal and professional goal is to lead others in knowing that freedom can be realized!

I have been working with individuals, children, couples and families for over 30 years. I began in Parent Child Centers as mental health consultant, then a child development program where I was manager of a 1200 child program. I was Day Treatment Director of a therapeutic program for abused children while I was getting a Post-Master's from UofL in Family Therapy. I went into private practice and saw individuals, men and women, who were grappling with everyday life issues that many face, such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, childhood abuse as well as children with many of the same challenges. I saw couples and families in many settings. I have been a child development consultant for Health and Human Services, a Military Family Life Consultant, an ER psych evaluator for hospital admissions, and other meaningful experiences that have made me the therapist I am. I believe childhood experiences contribute to our adult coping skills. I enjoy seeing people enjoy life again!
