About Dr. Randolph Bishop, MD
Neurosurgical Solutions was created to provide a vehicle for the delivery of unique neurosurgical procedures to patients with difficult spine and brain disorders.
Dr. Bishop has a greater than 20 year career treating neurosurgical patients. During this time he has received numerous patents for the design and development of instruments and implants used in microsurgery of the spine. These inventions have been used in spinal surgery in over 500,000 patients worldwide.
Dr. Bishop has been a pioneer in the development of techniques and procedures used in performing outpatient neurosurgery. He has a greater than 15 yr history of performing most spinal surgery cases in an outpatient setting.
Dr. Bishop is the only surgeon in the Savannah region performing neuroaugmentation procedures for movement disorders, endoscopic spinal decompressions/fusions, and offering unique biological alternatives for degenerative disc pathology such as the Via Disc.
