Dr. Young earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman. Then, he enrolled at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, earning his medical degree. 

Dr. Young brings more than 30 years of experience to the Brain and Spine Center of South Florida. He manages various neurological problems but specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors and hydrocephalus. Dr. Timothy Burke offers many years of excellent Neurosurgical experience and care. As a former Director of Neurological Surgery and Brain Tumor Director at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland he specializes in cranial base surgery, neuro-oncology, pituitary tumors, facial pain, Chiari malformation, stereotactic radiosurgery, complex and minimally invasive spine. Dr. Burke subspecializes in a variety of neurological areas including YAG laser, micro vascular decompression, the use of Midas Rex, brain tumor surgery, spinal tumors, cervical and lumbar fusions, and trigeminal neuralgia. Dr. Burke also served as Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery at The George Washington University. He was awarded Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society from The George Washington University as well.
