Dr. Arora graduated from Binghamton University in New York. After undergrad, he traveled to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University College of Medicine, where he conducted medical research and earned his Masters of Medical Science. Dr. Arora then returned to New York for medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Arora completed his residency in Anesthesiology and a clinical fellowship in pain medicine through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Roosevelt and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s, both in New York City. During his education, Dr. Arora received recognition and numerous awards for his excellence in learning and practice.
Dr. Arora brings vast experience and up-to-date knowledge to the team of doctors and professionals at Metro Pain and Vein Centers. He believes in treating his patients with comfort, compassion, and communication. As a partner in his patient’s health, he is committed to understanding the goals of his patients and believes this is the key to the best clinical results.
Dr. Liu grew up in Westchester county, NY and earned his doctorate of medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. After medical school, Dr. Liu moved to New York City and completed his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain management at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai before moving to New Jersey and joining Metro Pain & Vein. During his training at Mount Sinai, Dr. Liu received recognition for his clinical excellence by his mentors and peers.
Dr. Liu is deeply passionate about helping patients suffering from both acute and chronic pain improve their quality of life by utilizing a multimodal approach. These include physical therapy and chiropractic treatments, pharmacotherapy, interventional procedures, dietary and lifestyle modifications, as well as alternative and complementary medicine. He is a firm believer in the power of a strong patient-physician relationship and always treats his patients with honesty, compassion and empathy.
Dr. Liu’s clinical interests also include the latest and most innovative therapies that are being introduced to the world of pain management, including prolotherapy and stem cell-based therapies. He has presented at both regional and national conferences in anesthesiology and pain medicine, and has co-authored a book chapter in the field of regenerative medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Liu enjoys traveling with his wife, trying new recipes at home, and DIY home improvement projects. He currently lives in Fort Lee, NJ.
Nilufer Guleyupoglu, MD, is a specialist in helping people affected by pain and finding the most appropriate treatments for their individual situations. As owner and director of INVO Pain Medicine Group in Midtown, Manhattan, Dr. Guleyupoglu provides state-of-the-art facilities in her New York City office, including a fluoroscopy unit and ultrasound scanner on site. Dr. Guleyupoglu earned her medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical School in 1988, after which she worked as a general practitioner and medical lecturer. After choosing to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation, she was awarded her fellowship in pain medicine from Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in 2004 and worked at the hospital for a further twelve years.
Both the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine certified Dr. Guleyupoglu as a specialist in the field of pain medicine, confirming her standing as a leading physician in her specialty. She has over thirty years of experience and has worked at some prestigious medical colleges and hospitals, including the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and New York University School of Medicine, both as a doctor and professor.
