In her spare time you can find her biking, running, skiing, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She has also served global communities with international medical missions, most recently in Peru.

Bhavi Patel, DO, is a recognized board-certified expert in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Peak Spine and Sports Medicine locations in Hoboken and Ridgewood, New Jersey. With extensive fellowship training in spine and musculoskeletal medicine, she specializes in minimally invasive procedures for treating neck and spine disorders, as well as injuries related to the musculoskeletal system and sports activities.

Dr. Patel is skilled in administering both therapeutic and diagnostic spinal injections with the use of fluoroscopy, as well as peripheral injections guided by ultrasound technology. Her academic journey includes an accelerated program at the New York Institute of Technology and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Following her internship, Dr. Patel completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she held the position of chief resident. She further specialized in interventional sports and spine medicine during a fellowship at the Center for Advanced Pain Management and Rehabilitation in New Jersey.

In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Patel has a deep involvement in sports medicine, having provided care and support to athletes such as those in the NCAA at Maritime College Football Team, Brooklyn Public School Athletic League Football Team, USA Golden Gloves Boxers, and participants in the New York Marathon.
