Personal Life

Karen is a dedicated wife and mother of three young children who keep her energized and inspired. She is also the proud owner of a Yorkie who completes the family. In her downtime, she channels her creativity into crafting and baking and unwinds with her favorite Netflix series. She loves outdoor adventures with her family and is passionate about maintaining a balanced life, both personally and professionally.

Saurabh Dang, MD, MBA, is a double board-certified pain medicine and anesthesiology physician at Hudson Pain and Spine in Englewood, New Jersey. He is dedicated to helping individuals alleviate pain, regain mobility, and enhance their quality of life through advanced, minimally invasive treatments.

After earning his bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, Dr. Dang completed a General Surgery internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, followed by an Anesthesiology residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, where he served as Chief Resident and was honored with the “Resident of the Year” award. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at The University of Toledo and earned his MBA from The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Dang specializes in neuromodulation and advanced interventional procedures, including spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery, SI joint fusion, kyphoplasty, and minimally invasive lumbar decompression for spinal stenosis. He takes a multimodal approach to chronic pain, combining innovative procedures with comprehensive care tailored to each patient.

As an active member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the North American Neuromodulation Society, Dr. Dang continues to educate fellow physicians nationwide while helping patients in New Jersey find lasting relief from chronic pain.

Milind Patel, MD, MBA, is a double board-certified pain management specialist and physiatrist at Peak Spine & Sports Medicine in Marlton, New Jersey. He continuously provides the latest treatment options available in his field and collaborates with his multidisciplinary team to offer top-tier care. While working with new or returning patients, Dr. Patel gains an in-depth understanding of their goals and uses a holistic approach to treat chronic pain and sports injuries. Dr. Patel attended Drexel University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2014. In 2012, Dr. Patel completed a master’s degree in business administration, focusing on health care management and finance. Dr. Grigory Shtender is a medical doctor who specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has greater than 25+ years of medical experience specializing in electromyography and nerve conduction studies. With more than 20 years of experience, Grigory Kizelshteyn, MD, FIPP, offers the best in pain management to AABP Integrative Pain Care and Wellness patients in White Plains. 

With his two board certifications in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Kizelshteyn provides expert care for many chronic pain conditions, including back pain, leg pain, and arthritis.

Dr. Kizelshteyn uses many different pain management techniques to help his patient feel and move better, including ultrasound-guided interventional epidural injections and nerve blocks, ketamine infusions, medical marijuana, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). He uses a holistic, multimodal approach that also incorporates lifestyle changes such as altered focus meditation.

Jasmin Harounian, MD is a dual board-certified Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine Physician with expertise in addressing orthopedic conditions, neck/back pain, sports injuries, nerve conditions, arthritis, and tendon/ligament injuries. 

As a physiatrist, her ultimate goal is to restore function, decrease pain, and improve her patients' overall quality of life. In order to do so, Dr. Harounian implements a wide array of treatment options - from targeted medication management and physical therapy exercise prescription to ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic-guided injections. Her interventional spine procedures include, but are not limited to, epidural injections, medial branch blocks, facet joint and sacroiliac joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations.
