Dr. Elizabeth Kotarinos is a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern California where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Elizabeth has served as a Junior Research Assistant for Loyola University Medical Center and RML Specialty Hospital as well as a Lab Assistant for The American Urogynecologic Society and the International Pelvic Pain Society. Additionally, Elizabeth is Rhonda's Teaching Assistant during lectures. She has also met the requirements through Andrews University to include dry needling in her practice. Currently, Elizabeth serves on the Medical Advisory Board for Tipped Lipped.
Shannon Jaronik DPT, PRPC is a pelvic floor physical therapist for Beyond Gyne Health. Shannon received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2005. She is a specialist in the field of pelvic floor therapy, having earned her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) in 2020 through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Shannon began her career as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist with Northshore University Healthsystems. She quickly transitioned into women's health having found a passion for treating and supporting women of all ages. Shannon moved to a new role with Northwestern Medicine Urogynecology at Lake Forest Hospital in 2016. Her areas of interest include treating urinary urgency-frequency and dyspareunia (pain with intercourse). She is excited to bring her almost 20 years of experience to the clients of Beyond Gyne Health.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys reading, riding her bike and spending time with her husband, two teenagers and her beagle, Scooter.
Caroline specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and is dedicated to helping patients improve comfort, function, and quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care. Caroline earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Miami University in 2013 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University in 2016. She began her career as an inpatient physical therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where she worked extensively with individuals with spinal cord injuries and complex neurological conditions.
Following the birth of her first daughter in 2020, Caroline developed a deep interest in pelvic health and pursued advanced training through Herman & Wallace, along with dedicated clinical mentorship while continuing her work at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. In 2022, she fully transitioned into an outpatient pelvic health physical therapy role.
Caroline is passionate about normalizing open conversations around pelvic health, increasing public education, and creating a supportive, shame-free environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and confident in their care. She is excited to bring her diverse clinical background and expertise to the Beyond Gyne Health community.
Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time at home with her husband and three young daughters. She loves running, strength training, coffee, hearty soups, family walks, and admiring the moon. We are excited to welcome her to the team!
