Ifeanyichukwu earned his Bachelor of Science in Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and have practiced for some years in Nigeria before relocating to United States of America where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Montana.
He has a comprehensive background in physical therapy, specializing in evaluation, diagnosing, and planning an effective treatment plan to help patients with diverse physical disabilities, pain, mobility and functional deficits return to their prior level of functioning.
His passion for promoting health and wellness drives him to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
Outside of his profession, he enjoys listening to music, watching soccer, traveling, and working out.
Dr. Jonathan Stacey graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Medicine, Department of Rehab Science, and is the Clinic Director at the Olney office. He comes to PTSMC with a nearly sixteen-year history with the University of Maryland Rehab and Ortho Institute, treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological issues, ranging from spinal cord injuries and amputations to Guillain-Barré syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. He also is very experienced with wheelchair seating and positioning as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Jonathan is also skilled at assessing and treating spine and pelvis dysfunction and gait and balance issues. He is very passionate about his career and views his patients as family members, deserving of all the same care, compassion, and attention. He also enjoys teaching. Dr. Stacey is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, with many former interns now successful DPTs. He also served as an associate professor for several years at the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Medicine, his alma mater. Jonathan is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide the PTSMC clients with a high level of care and to work with a very skilled therapy team at the clinic serving the Olney community and the surrounding area.
In his personal life, Dr. Stacey, a dad of five wonderful children, lives with his wife and family in Sykesville, MD. Raised in the small town of Massena, NY, Dr. Stacey has called Maryland home for over 25 years. Prior to attending grad school, he had a nearly ten-year career with Wal-Mart, where he honed his customer service skills, frequently recognized for this both there and in his previous career at the University of Maryland.
Alexander is a recent graduate and the newest member of the PTSMC team, receiving his doctorate in physical therapy from the hybrid program at Augusta University in Sioux Falls, SD. Alexander is a DMV native, growing up in Fort Washington MD. He's excited to be back home with these new skills to serve and treat the local community in this capacity.
Clinically, Alexander is interested in vestibular rehab, recreational athletics, and health and wellness areas as he has an exercise science background. His main clinical goal for his first year at PTSMC is to obtain a vestibular rehab certification to expand the patients he can reach as this population is a great opportunity for special care.
In his free time, you can find Alexander thrifting, renting Redbox movies, skating, or making a new friend as he's always finding things to chat about. Striking a balance of solo and socially involved activities is his goal.
I have been a Physical Therapist for more than 30 years with a variety of niche specialties including scoliosis. I have been extensively trained in the Schroth method of therapy for scoliosis and kyphosis. I work with all of my patients 1:1 to provide you with the most personalized experience and focus on your specific needs. My practice includes working with both adults and adolescents with scoliosis and kyphosis. Having scoliosis myself and having been on this journey with my daughter as well, I bring not only expertise, but understanding of the many viewpoints that we have working with scoliosis.
Eugene Trembisky is a physical therapist who has been a dedicated member of the GWOG team for 21 years.
Eugene received his Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2001. Prior to his career as a PT, Eugene practiced for seven years as a Registered Nurse at Suburban Hospital.
As a PT, Eugene has been treating numerous patients with a variety of primarily orthopedic conditions helping patients to recover after orthopedic surgeries, fractures and injuries. Eugene is passionate about explaining to patients the nature of their conditions and addressing all issues and concerns to ensure a path to optimal rehabilitation.
Fluent in Russian, Eugene has been helping many Russian-speaking patients, especially older members of the community, to navigate the language barrier.
Aside from medicine, Eugene has many interests, including art, history, and opera. In his spare time, he also enjoys travel, photography, biking and kayaking with his wife and daughters.
Lise earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Hood College and a Certificate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University.
She has more than 25 years of experience in treating outpatient orthopedics, specializing in post operative joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs and sports injuries.
She has been practicing yoga for ten years and enjoys incorporating yoga into her patient routines when appropriate.
She and her husband have raised four children and are enjoying spending time with their grandchildren, gardening, hiking and traveling.
