Gerald F. Gaughan, MD, is a highly experienced physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Doctors United, with offices in the West Farms and Wakefield neighborhoods in the White Plains, and Ardsley, New York. Dr. Gaughan focuses on enhancing and restoring the functional abilities and quality of life for his patients with physical impairments and disabilities. 

After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center (now known as SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University) in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Gaughan completed a one-year medicine internship at New Rochelle Hospital (now known as Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital) in New Rochelle, New York. 

Dr. Gaughan then went on to complete his anesthesia residency at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, followed by his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.

Dr. Marcelo del Rio, PT, DPT has been a physical therapist for 5 years. Marcelo received my Doctorate Degree at Long Island University - Brooklyn. He has been in out-patient PT for 3 years is now doing in-home physical therapy with Reddy Care. His favorite condition to treat would include any neurological condition (Parkinoson's, MS etc.) as he is able to utilize his knowledge to help improve these patients' functional ability.

Russ Poker, PT has been a therapist since 1992 primarily in private practice specializing in general orthopedic care with a focus on neck and back related issues.  He graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook for Physical Therapy and hold degrees in Physical Education from Adelphi University and the Wingate Institute in Israel. Russ speaks Hebrew, Spanish and French which he finds helpful in communicating with his patients. Having a varied background of living abroad, serving in the military and participating in different sports helps him understand people better and put them more at ease. As he gets closer in age to his patients, he understands where they are coming from better and what they want to maintain in their functional abilities to stay active and vital.

Dr. Stephanie Idjadi, PT, DPT received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology. She has done research in Parkinson's and was published in the International Journal of Health Sciences. Stephanie began her career at Reddy Care Physical Therapy 12 years ago as a physical therapy aide while also working on marketing, recruiting, human resources, and many other administrative activities. After graduating in 2015 Stephanie started her career with us as a physical therapist. As the clinical director of our Great Neck clinic, she supports a team of therapists. In her role, she ensures that clinical care is delivered to the highest standards so that patients can achieve their goals.

Dr. Darnell Peters, PT, DPT graduated from Andrew’s University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2010. He has since worked in various settings from acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, aqua-therapy, and home care and has over 10+ years of experience as a PT. 

Darnell loves to work with patients in the neuro setting dealing with issues from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, vestibular and balance issues, and more.

In his spare time, Darnell is a loving husband and father to his wife and 5 yr old daughter and is a musician playing for various events, weddings, and concerts.

Stelios Liotopoulos, PTA joined Reddy Care Physical Therapy in December of 2008, however, he began practicing in 1994. Stelios enjoys his career and his ability to interact with his patients. Stelios moved to the United States in 1989 when he was 22 years old and began working for his uncle in the fur import and export business. While working there, he attended classes to learn English. In his free time, he played soccer as it was a passion of his since he was young. Stelios played on a semi-professional team in both Greece and the US, and his passion for sports spurred his interest in physical education and exercise physiology which he studied at Queens College. Over time, he because more familiar with physical therapy as a profession and later switched majors to pursue his degree as a physical therapy assistant from LaGuardia Community College. Over the last 25 years, he has been practicing physical therapy. Stelios has also taken many continuing education courses that involve manual techniques. The techniques he has learned allow him to enhance the way he treats his patients and help to improve their recovery to get them back to their daily activities free from pain and discomfort.

Dr. Maitreyi Shukla, PT, DPT, MS, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist has over 10 years of experience. She finished her undergraduate studies in India and since has unending dedication towards patient care while working in various clinical settings with a focus on evidence-based care. She came to the USA to pursue her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in orthopedic rehabilitation. Since her graduation, she has worked in an outpatient setting with an emphasis on hands-on care while helping complex patients suffering from a myriad of problems achieve their goals. She simultaneously has pursued her passion for learning by achieving her DPT as well as on keeping her education current while pursuing various programs including taping, PNF, and manual therapy. She most recently was named as a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatrics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS) of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). A specialist certification that formally recognizes physical therapists who show sincere dedication to pursuing excellence in care with advanced knowledge. She enjoys having conversations with her patients, traveling, reading, and restoring old furniture in her spare time.

Dr. Vinod Somareddy, PT, DPT, is the founder and president of Reddy Care Physical & Occupational Therapy with locations throughout New York in Farmingdale, Great Neck, North Shore Towers, Oceanside, Woodbury, Bayside, Deer Park, and Upper Westside of New York Cit. Started in 2003, Dr. Somareddy built his practice under the guiding principles of providing quality care that fosters a patient-centered culture committed to improving the lives of everyone who comes through the door. 

As the eldest son in the family, Dr. Somareddy decided to honor his father’s own dedication to patient care, naming his practice after him. Dr. Somareddy’s father, nicknamed “Reddy,” worked as a nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he garnered a reputation for his knowledge, perseverance, and compassionate patient care. Dr. Eric Bayer, PT, DPT received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with honors from Thomas Jefferson University in 2008. His Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science was earned at the University of Delaware in 2005. After graduating Physical Therapy school, he moved back home to Long Island, where started his career working in outpatient private practice. He has now been working for Reddy Care Physical Therapy for the past 8 years and has strived to advance his clinical and managerial skills. As the director of the Farmingdale office, he supports a team of 5 people. He provides guidance and monitors the performance of the physical therapists and the front desk staff as well as makes day-to-day decisions for the Farmingdale office in order to better serve the needs of our patients.

Antonette Cabello, PT went to physical therapy school in the Philippines and has been practicing in a variety of patient settings for over 34 years. She enjoys the challenge of treating different conditions and likes to focus on using manual techniques and educating her patients in the management of his/her condition.
