Dr. Marcelo del Rio, PT, DPT has been a physical therapist for 5 years. Marcelo received my Doctorate Degree at Long Island University - Brooklyn. He has been in out-patient PT for 3 years is now doing in-home physical therapy with Reddy Care. His favorite condition to treat would include any neurological condition (Parkinoson's, MS etc.) as he is able to utilize his knowledge to help improve these patients' functional ability.
Russ Poker, PT has been a therapist since 1992 primarily in private practice specializing in general orthopedic care with a focus on neck and back related issues. He graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook for Physical Therapy and hold degrees in Physical Education from Adelphi University and the Wingate Institute in Israel. Russ speaks Hebrew, Spanish and French which he finds helpful in communicating with his patients. Having a varied background of living abroad, serving in the military and participating in different sports helps him understand people better and put them more at ease. As he gets closer in age to his patients, he understands where they are coming from better and what they want to maintain in their functional abilities to stay active and vital.
Caryn Blum, MPT has been a therapist for 23 years, and graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. I have worked in all aspects of physical therapy including hospitals, rehab centers, outpatient and now homecare. I love working with and helping people to feel better and improve their functional abilities. Dr. Maitreyi Shukla, PT, DPT, MS, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist has over 10 years of experience. She finished her undergraduate studies in India and since has unending dedication towards patient care while working in various clinical settings with a focus on evidence-based care. She came to the USA to pursue her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in orthopedic rehabilitation. Since her graduation, she has worked in an outpatient setting with an emphasis on hands-on care while helping complex patients suffering from a myriad of problems achieve their goals. She simultaneously has pursued her passion for learning by achieving her DPT as well as on keeping her education current while pursuing various programs including taping, PNF, and manual therapy. She most recently was named as a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatrics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS) of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). A specialist certification that formally recognizes physical therapists who show sincere dedication to pursuing excellence in care with advanced knowledge. She enjoys having conversations with her patients, traveling, reading, and restoring old furniture in her spare time.
Dr. Darnell Peters, PT, DPT graduated from Andrew’s University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2010. He has since worked in various settings from acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, aqua-therapy, and home care and has over 10+ years of experience as a PT.
Darnell loves to work with patients in the neuro setting dealing with issues from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, vestibular and balance issues, and more.

Dan earned his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. Upon graduating, Dan was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society and later received a perfect score on his National Physical Therapy Licensing Boards. His previous academic achievements have reflected his commitment to his education and the profession as a whole.
As part of his Doctoral training, Dan completed multiple clinical rotations across various clinical settings in order to become a well rounded clinician. While at Kingsbrook Medical Center he treated various post-surgical orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as patients with acute traumatic brain injury in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. He accumulated experience working with various orthopedic cases and sports related injuries while completing 2 outpatient rotations in Manhattan. Dan has accrued experience working within a fast paced and complex acute care setting at New York Presbyterian. Here, he worked closely with the medical team evaluating and treating various conditions across multiple medical floors and ICUs with an emphasis on acute stroke rehabilitation.
Dan’s treatment approach is a comprehensive combination of modern pain science education, hands on manual therapy, structured and progressive corrective exercise, and neuromuscular re-education to restore proper movement patterns, promote optimal outcomes and prevent future injury while honoring each patient’s unique goals.
