Dr. Woghiren earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he graduated summa cum laude in the top 10% of his class. After his graduation from Rutgers, Dr. Woghiren studied for his doctor of physical therapy degree at Columbia University in New York City. During his time at Columbia, Dr. Woghiren took specialized courses on sports rehabilitation, completed the advanced track in orthopedics, and presented his Capstone Project titled "Thoracic Outlet Syndrome of the Shoulder."

 

Dr. Woghiren has completed clinical affiliations in outpatient orthopedic, outpatient hospital-based, and acute care settings throughout Central Jersey. He's worked with a diverse patient population, including pediatric and geriatric patients, and has extensive experience in treating a wide range of orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular conditions. Dr. Woghiren is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is licensed to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Woghiren's passion for exercising and pursuing a healthy lifestyle originated in high school, where he played soccer and basketball and ran track and field. He enjoys participating in CrossFit and has experience demonstrating the correct exercise technique and injury prevention methods to the CrossFit community. Dr. Woghiren understands the importance of providing every patient with a unique, individualized experience and is dedicated to their success.

Casey received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Rutgers University, where she was inducted into the National Student Honor Society. In her graduate program, Casey was a Teaching Assistant for the course Neuroscience, teaching the foundational basis for disorders of neurological origin. Before that, she attended Rutgers University and received her Bachelor of Science as an Exercise Science major with a minor in Psychology. Here she was a teaching assistant for her Exercise and Aging course. Both experiences as teaching assistants fostered her love of training, teaching, and patience.

Casey experienced her clinical affiliations in outpatient orthopedics, acute care, school-based pediatrics, hippotherapy, and inpatient rehab. In these settings, she worked with a wide range of diagnoses stemming from musculoskeletal, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary origins, with demographics ranging from pediatric through geriatric.

Casey encourages regular movement and physical well-being in her own life with some of her passions being hiking, biking, rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding. She also enjoys art projects, reading, and playing guitar, which satisfies her creative side. Additionally, she is a master of working a puzzle.

Philip Pesce, MSPT, is a highly qualified physical therapist and one of the owners of Riverwalk Physical Therapy in Raritan, New Jersey. He grew up in Staten Island, NY and graduated with cum laude from the College of Staten Island.  He received his Masters in Physical Therapy in 1998 and has practiced at the  renowned Rusk Institute of NYU, then onto Staten Island Hospital, and pediatrics for the NYC Board of Education.  Phil was then a therapist for PLUS ONE – providing  one on one physical therapy for staff at Goldman Sachs in Jersey City.  Over the last 12 years, Phil has predominately worked in outpatient adult and pediatric orthopedic facilities. Phil is the co-owner of Riverwalk Physical Therapy in Basking Ridge, NJ.

Phil has received his Level 1 and 2 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute (a division of Titleist Corporation) to work on restoring lost function and movement with reference to golf fitness. Phil is committed to life long learning by attending classes every year. Phil’s 3 most recent courses include: Sports-Related Injuries in the Young Athlete,  Injuries in the Running Athlete, and Evidence Based Examination of the Shoulder.  Phil continually keeps informed of the most up to date and proven manual therapy techniques and stays current with post- operative protocols. Michael Rizkalla, MD, a skilled physician with double-board certification in sports medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation, founded Revive Spine and Pain Center in 2017. At the practice’s offices in Marlton, Hamilton Township, East Brunswick and Northfield, New Jersey, he provides a patient-centered approach to treating acute and chronic pain.

He begins each appointment by listening to patients who all too often say that they’ve been everywhere and no one listens to or helps them. After hearing and understanding each person’s unique story and completing a physical exam, Dr. Rizkalla creates a tailored treatment plan using evidence-based treatments drawn from traditional medicine, interventional medicine, physical therapy, and complementary and restorative practices.

Dr. Rizkalla received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida, then finished an internship in internal medicine before completing a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Dr. Rizkalla has a subspecialty in sports medicine, has fellowship training in interventional pain management, and is certified in contemporary medical acupuncture. Dr. Selorm Takyi joined Revive Spine and Pain Center in 2020. He completed his physiatry residency at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, offered through the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. With a passion for teaching, he served as an academic chief resident and graduated residency in 2019. He then completed his fellowship in regenerative orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. Takyi practices compassionate medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2014 while attending Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Specializing in both ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic-guided techniques to treat pain and sports medicine injuries, he is excited to share his goal of using non-surgical procedures to help restore function and quality of life to his patients. With his training in physiatry, Dr. Takyi enjoys creating comprehensive treatment plans for his patients. In addition to offering interventional spine injections such as epidurals and nerve blocks, he performs platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and micro-fragmented adipose tissue (MFAT) injections to help treat a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. His clinical interests include regenerative medicine, rotator cuff tears, osteoarthritis, ACL injuries, and meniscus tears.

He has co-authored the physical modalities, therapeutic exercise, extended bedrest, and aging effects chapter in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review 4th Edition and an upcoming publication, Atlas of Interventional Orthopedics Procedures chapter on autologous tissue harvesting techniques: bone marrow aspirate and adipose tissue. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Interventional Orthobiolgoics Foundation, Spine Intervention Society, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. When not in the office, Dr. Takyi enjoys photography, exercising, and spending time with his family.
