JJ received his bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in Las Piñas City in the Philippines, graduating with honors. After passing the United States boards in 1996, JJ began his career at AdventHealth Orlando in Florida. Since that time, he has worked in various clinical settings, including acute, sub-acute, and rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing facilities, and nursing homes in Lake Placid, Sebring, and Wauchula, Florida, gaining more than 15 years of experience.
JJ feels passionate about helping people regain movement and full function to attain their goals, and he aims to encourage his patients to be self-reliant. He has specialist clinical expertise in manual therapy techniques to help patients with various musculoskeletal disorders, including arthritis, neck and back pain, shoulder dysfunction, and osteoporosis.
