Brad currently serves as a sports scientist coach for US Soccer Youth and Extended National Teams acting as a consultant for all things performance related. During his time at San Diego State University, he conducted research exploring risk factors for running related injuries in recreational athletes. He also draws from his experience as a former NCAA All-American distance runner at the University of Washington to further understand and relate to the biopsychosocial demands of athletes.

Ryan Gibbons PT, DPT, ATC is a sports medicine professional who brings a highly varied and unique approach to rehabilitation. After attaining his Athletic Training Credential in 2021, Ryan pursued and attained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences. Ryan has worked with a wide array of patients including professional athletes and Navy special forces. Ryan’s skill set includes the use of strong soft tissue and manual treatment, functional movement, sport specific task training, and return to play recovery for athletes. To maintain his depth of understanding for his patients, Ryan avidly participates in cross training between weight lifting, swimming, and jiu jitsu. In addition to physical therapy, Ryan works as a part-time Athletic Trainer, helping various athletes on the weekends to recover from acute injuries.
Dr. Michael Kastan PT, DPT brings an eclectic treatment approach to provide a tailored program to address each patient’s personal physical attributes. He attended San Diego State University for undergraduate and obtained his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences - San Marcos and graduated with high honors. During his education, he has attained his Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS), became certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training, and attended the Applied Functional Science (AFS) Chain Reaction seminar by the Gray Institute. He has maintained an active lifestyle through his adulthood with experience in American football, rugby, powerlifting, and endurance running. Shaped from his years of outpatient experience, he takes a diverse approach to treatment with manual therapy, biomechanical analysis, and replication of functional tasks in order to ensure a more complete return to prior level of function.
Dr. Alyssa Burkitt, PT, DPT, CAFS, H&W, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, certified Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, and has been certified in Applied Functional Science with the Gray Institute. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University, where she conducted research surrounding pelvic floor dysfunction. She believes in a holistic approach to developing individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing all aspects of patients’ lifestyles through the incorporation of manual techniques as well as strength and conditioning principles to help people return to what they love without limitations. She is passionate about working with active populations with needs for both orthopedic and/or pelvic function rehabilitation, with a focus in Women’s Health. She has been active all her life, and currently participates in activities such as running, weightlifting, jiu jitsu, and hiking, as well as going to the beach!
Josie Felix, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, COMT is a physical therapist who graduated from the University of Saint Augustine - St. Augustine location in 2019 and has been practicing the last 5 years in Seattle, WA before recently moving to San Diego. Her mission is to provide high quality and specialized physical therapy services with an emphasis on looking at the body as a whole and trying to find the cause of your injury, mobility/strength limitations, or pain to help not only treat your involved area, but also find the driver or cause of what brought you to physical therapy. Josie treats individuals of all ages with various types of injuries, but specializes in helping those with EDS/hypermobility syndromes, TMJ dysfunctions, and rotational sport/overhead athletes. Josie was a DI collegiate softball pitcher and is TPI Medical Level II certified (golf specialization). Josie is also in the process of completing her fellowship in manual therapy through ASPIRE OMT.
Dr. Jereme Schumacher PT, DPT, brings a wealth of knowledge from multiple disciplines of physical therapy. After graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University in 2017, Dr. Schumacher pursued a certification in Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), CrossFit Level-1 trainer, FMT Blades Advanced, and attained certificates from the Applied Functional Science (AFS) Chain Reaction seminar. Coupled with extensive clinical mentorship in manual therapeutics, outpatient orthopedics, and biomechanical evaluations, Jereme has developed a diverse skill set, that can be utilized to progress individuals throughout their fitness journey. As a former collegiate football player and current powerlifter/CrossFit athlete, Jereme understands the physical and mental demands that are required to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. This has allowed him to successfully treat athletes from the middle school level, all the way up to the professional and olympic levels.
Dr. Sarah Ralston, PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. With a background in competitive volleyball and a current passion for weightlifting, she brings a strong understanding of movement, strength training, and injury prevention to her practice. Sarah focuses on helping active individuals return to the activities they love through evidence-based, strength-driven rehab, and personalized care.
Dr. Dylan Mutchler, PT, DPT, CSCS is a graduate of New York University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with additional certifications in RockSteady Boxing and Hyperice recovery. He strives to educate and excite others about how to optimize their relationships with their bodies through his multidisciplinary approach involving the science of movement, strength training, and manual techniques. As a former JUCO and NCAA collegiate baseball player, he understands and relates to both the physical and mental demands that being an athlete at any level entails and specializes in working with athletes of all age ranges. Away from the clinic, Dylan enjoys working out at the gym, staying active with basketball, boxing and baseball, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, and video chatting with his nieces and nephew.
Dr. Julianne Lane, PT, DPT, CSCS, H&W, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and certified Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. Graduating from the University of Washington, she gained valuable clinical experience focusing on elite athletes across various sports realms including high school, collegiate, NFL, NBA, MLS, and WSL. Motivated by her passion for working with female athletes, she pursued specialized training in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation and return-to-sport protocols. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, she finds joy in exploring the great outdoors. During her leisure time, she can be found hiking, practicing yoga and pilates, running, skiing, surfing, and enjoying live music!
Raheela James, MPT, MBA is a licensed physical therapist with over 23 years of experience and has worked in many different settings, such as outpatient rehabilitation clinics, inpatient acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health services, and sports clinics.
Raheela has experience working with various diagnoses such as back pain, including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral; shoulder disorders, hip disorders; knee disorders; total joint replacements, geriatrics including falls, as well as neurological disorders.
