Obi Onyewu, MD, FAAPMR, is a fellowship-trained and double board-certified pain medicine physician who mainly practices at the CHOICE Pain & Rehabilitation Center offices in Olney, Rosedale, Lanham and Pikesville, Maryland. He’s a perennial nominee and winner of top doctor awards, including The Becker Spine Review’s Top 150 Pain Specialists to Know and Vital’s Patient Choice and Compassionate Doctor awards.
After receiving his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Onyewu completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He followed that with a pain medicine fellowship at the Mid-Atlantic Pain Institute in Delaware.
