She went on to serve as Assistant Attending Psychologist and Co-Director of Sloan-Kettering’s Psychotherapy Laboratory, and from there served as Director of Psychology Service at City of Hope Cancer Center. Dr. Poppito recently transitioned from running the Behavioral Health Oncology (BHOPE) Service at Baylor Sammons Cancer Center (Dallas TX). She has co-authored two Oxford University Press books on Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy, and has published/presented extensively on life-transitional issues throughout the adult life-span.
