Erin Heinerichs is a certified speech-language pathologist specializing in the treatment of speech, language, social and cognitive communication disorders in children and adults.
Erin received her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from The College of New Jersey. Erin’s extensive clinical experience in both pediatric and adult rehabilitation, includes speech therapy positions in hospitals and school districts in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery Counties. Since 2005 Erin has served as Clinical Director at Abington Speech Pathology Services, Inc. (ASPS), a premier rehab contracting agency specializing in speech therapy.

Erin is an essential part of the Practice’s multidisciplinary Concussion Care team. She provides prompt and appropriate management of post-concussion symptoms so that patients can successfully return to baseline function and maximum potential in academics, athletics, occupation, or other activities. She works closely with patients to develop cognitive skills to improve attention, memory, and problem solving. She helps patients recover from post-concussion symptoms as much as possible and helps them develop coping strategies to effectively compensate when they are having difficulty.
Shannon Waller, APN, is an advanced practice nurse serving patients at CANJ Aesthetics in Oakland, New Jersey.
Shannon worked as a high-risk pregnancy registered nurse for seven years. She wanted to further her education and advance her role in health care, so she went to graduate school to earn her family nurse practitioner degree, and for the last two years, she has been practicing at Cardiac Associates in Primary Care.
Shannon’s passion in life has been taking care of her patient’s physical and psychosocial well-being. That being said, breaking out into aesthetics has been a goal of hers. After finally getting her very long struggle with rosacea under control, she understands how important these services are for one’s self-confidence and personal growth.

Nathalia Fonseca, SLPD, CCC-SLP, TSSLD-BE, is a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Bilingual Speech-Language & Swallowing Therapy. Dr. Fonseca offers speech therapy to children and adults in the Forest Hills neighborhood of New York City, New York.
Dr. Fonseca earned her master’s degree and doctorate in speech-language pathology at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). She is a certified speech-language pathologist through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
While helping patients at Bilingual Speech-Language & Swallowing Therapy, Dr. Fonseca serves as a director of clinical education and services at Marymount Manhattan College, as well as an adjunct professor at NSU.
Dr. Fonseca has also been fortunate enough to travel the world and help patients across the globe with speech and language. She has participated in medical missions for Operation Smile, traveling to Latin, South, and Central American countries as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) and supervisor.

Christina earned her master’s degree from Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She has been practicing speech-language pathology for over 15 years, and has dedicated her professional career to speech and language disorders within adult and geriatric populations.
Her specialties include cognitive-communication disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, dysphagia (swallowing disorder), voice disorders, and other various motor speech disorders like dysarthria and apraxia of speech.

Laura J. Sambrookes-McQuade, SLPD, CCC-SLP, (she/her) graduated with her Doctor of Speech Language Pathology degree from Northwestern University in March 2021 and founded APTIH in November 2021. Dr. Sambrookes’ doctoral work focused on investigating which teaching strategies best support the health profession education student’s ability to deliver “bad news” to caregivers and their support network.
Dr. Sambrookes specializes in speech language and feeding for children aged birth to five. Her interest areas include: pediatric speech language disorders, late talkers, apraxia, early intervention, autism (treatment and diagnosis), sensory motor feeding disorders as well as swallowing and feeding disorders in infancy. Her practice approach is hallmarked by empathy and mindfulness practices.
Personally, Dr. Sambrookes enjoys long distance running, yoga, reading, journaling, philanthropy, and enjoying time outside with her husband, four children, and two dogs.
With nearly 20 years of experience, Natasha has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehab, skilled nursing, outpatient clinics, and the school system. In 2022, she decided to open the doors to her own practice in Harris County to serve the community and the people she loves.
