Meet Dr. Cynthia Caputo, DACM, A.P., R.N. Before opening Acupuncture Healing Arts, I spent years working as an ICU nurse caring for patients with complex medical conditions. That experience shaped the way I practice today—listening carefully, evaluating the whole picture, and developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals. My nursing background allows me to comfortably discuss medical diagnoses, procedures, medications, and treatment plans with patients. I-Chen (Debby) Chiang, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in Austin, Texas, with a special interest in complex and persistent health concerns, chronic pain, mobility problems, and neurological supportive care. She has particular training and experience in scalp, auricular, and body acupuncture. Before becoming an acupuncturist, Debby worked for more than 20 years as a project manager in the high-tech industry. During that time, she experienced persistent dry-eye discomfort and sciatic pain and later experienced significant improvement through acupuncture care with Dr. Wen Tsung-Kai in Taiwan. She subsequently studied with Dr. Wen and developed a nervous-system-focused, microsystem-based approach to acupuncture.
