Dr. Kate Leavens is a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist. She earned a doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a masters in acupuncture with a Chinese herbal medicine specialization from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR. She is a second year resident working with Dr. Ilana Guervich.
While Dr. Leavens’ training has focused on primary care, she has also completed more extensive training in gastroenterology, endocrinology, and women’s health. Dr. Chang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and he spent part of his childhood there before relocating to beautiful Ashland, Oregon, and then to Portland. I have been in practice since 2004. My post-graduate studies have primarily focused on the body-mind connection, enabling me to specialize in assisting patients who suffer from migraine, fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, anxiety and insomnia, as well as women experiencing infertility and menstrual/menopausal issues.
