She then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she earned the Faculty Award for Clinical Excellence. She is a board-certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Chanise is an active healthcare leader in her community, participating in numerous research studies in pulmonary critical care and allergy, asthma, and immunology. In addition, she is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Association of Physician Assistants in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (APA-AAI).
