Dr. Benincasa earned his medical degree from the University of Naples Federico II School of Medicine in Naples, Italy. Then he relocated to the United States to complete his internship and medical residency in adult and pediatric immunology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
During his training, Dr. Benincasa was named chief medical resident at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He has served as clinical assistant professor in the division of allergy and immunology at UMDNJ teaching internists and pediatricians who wish to specialize in allergy and immunology. Dr. Benincasa stays current on emerging research and medical developments

Richard E. Luka, MD, is a board-certified allergist and immunologist committed to providing the highest quality care to adult and pediatric patients in and around Clark, Garfield, and Clifton, New Jersey. He is committed to providing expert and compassionate care to patients of all ages with allergic and immunologic disorders. Dr. Luka graduated from Boston University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He remained in Boston to complete his residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center before relocating to New Jersey.
Since completing a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Luka has maintained an affiliation with the fellowship program. Dr. Luka served as assistant clinical professor of medicine at UMDNJ for more than ten years.
