Dr. Benincasa earned his medical degree from the University of Naples Federico II School of Medicine in Naples, Italy. Then he relocated to the United States to complete his internship and medical residency in adult and pediatric immunology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
During his training, Dr. Benincasa was named chief medical resident at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He has served as clinical assistant professor in the division of allergy and immunology at UMDNJ teaching internists and pediatricians who wish to specialize in allergy and immunology. Good for everything
I left feeling more knowledgeable and aware regarding my needs.
I recently visited Dr. Peter Benincasa’s Office, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst disappointing experiences I have had with a doctor. I went in with specific concerns and symptoms that I wanted addressed, but I did not feel that my concerns were properly heard or taken seriously. Instead of focusing on symptoms and issues I explained, I felt that assumptions were made based on my appearance. some of the remarks made during my visit left me feeling uncomfortable and, quite honestly insulted. As a patient, I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and treated with compassion, regardless of their appearance or circumstances. I left the appointment felling disappointed, and unheard. I sincerely hope that other patients do not have the same experience that I had. based on my experience, I will not be returning.

I could sense the professionalism in the way the doctor treated me during the consultation; I felt that he was genuinely interested in my problem and its possible causes. Furthermore, he was very clear when explaining the treatment plan to follow.
Dr Benincasa really takes the time to LISTENS to your concerns. He explains his findings and answers any questions and then develops a strategy to find a solution. Very professional and yet personable making anyone comfortable when dealing with him! Great doctor!

I had a really great experience with Dr.Benincasa while being treated for chronic sinus issues. I’ve been dealing with this for a long time, and it was frustrating not having clear answers before, but Dr. Benincasa really took the time to listen and understand my symptoms. He was very thorough and explained what could be causing my sinus problems, including how allergies and breathing issues might be connected. I appreciated how clearly everything was broken down, it made a big difference in helping me understand what was going on. The testing process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and organized. Most importantly, I was given a clear treatment plan that actually made sense and felt personalized to my situation. I finally felt like I was being taken seriously and not rushed through the appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Benincasa to anyone struggling with chronic sinus issues or allergies, or asthma problems; he is absolutly the best.
