After receiving his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Jindal relocated to Rochester, New York, for residency training in internal medicine at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. He also completed fellowship training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of Rochester. Over the course of his medical training, Dr. Jindal has published in The Journal of Clinical Hypertension and presented numerous studies at professional cardiovascular conferences.

She subsequently completed 3 years of training in Internal Medicine followed by another 3 years of specialized training in Cardiovascular disease/cardiology. She then worked at SUNY Downstate as a faculty physician and Assistant Professor of Cardiology until she moved to Dallas. After that she worked at Texas Health Resource and Plano Presbyterian Hospital for several years as an attending Cardiologist. Since then, she has been providing outstanding cardiac care at Heart Care located in Frisco, Texas. 

Dr. Begum has exceptional knowledge and skills. She excels in diagnosing and treating heart conditions including heart failure, coronary artery disease (CAD), valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and many more. She also believes in prevention and therefore focuses on hypertension, cholesterol and multiple other conditions that can lead to heart diseases.
