Derek Maul, DC, is a chiropractor who takes a holistic approach to his work at Charlotte Chiropractic and Rehab in Charlotte, North Carolina. He’s committed to empowering his patients to live a healthy lifestyle and gets to know each of them personally in order to design and implement personalized treatment plans according to their individual needs.
For his undergraduate premedical studies, Dr. Maul attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He then moved to Chesterfield, Missouri, to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College. Dr. Maul enjoys learning and continues to expand his education at every opportunity. He also shares his knowledge with his patients at Charlotte Chiropractic and Rehab to help them improve their health.
In his current role, Dr. Maul uses advanced techniques in chiropractic, acupuncture, dry needling, massage, laser therapy, and more to treat back pain, joint pain, neck pain, and other forms of pain at Charlotte Chiropractic and Rehab. He also regularly sees and treats athletes for acute and chronic conditions.
Outside of his work, Dr. Maul has a passion for helping others. He started and leads a nonprofit organization called Hands for Life. Through the organization, he offers chiropractic care to people who don’t have access to it. The organization also helps provide food, water, and educational services to underprivileged communities.
In his leisure time, Dr. Maul enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim and three sons TJ, Justin and Ryan. He is a half triathlon and marathon finisher. He also enjoys staying active with yoga, running and swimming.
