Born in India, raised in sunny south Florida. I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate education, and Barry University for a master’s degree. Attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. After graduation, I moved to and practiced in northern Virginia for a few years. I along with my brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and parents decided Houston would be a great place to settle, so we made the move here!

I strongly believe in patient education and information and try to stay up to date with my understanding of what dentistry has to offer. My focus in patient care is being a dental Sherpa or guide for my patients. When communicating dental concerns/treatments my goal is to best answer two questions for all my patients: What are we doing? And why are we doing it?

Outside of dentistry I enjoy cooking, talking to people and learning about anything new that I didn’t know already. To me learning leads to humility. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants and bars, as well as following cricket and soccer. Recently I have re-acquired my taste for football by getting into fantasy football.

Dr. Nawaz earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. Almost immediately afterwards, she moved to Houston with her husband and 2 children. Houston has really grown on her and she can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Dr. Nawaz is committed to providing her patients with excellent dental care. Her practice philosophy aligns well with Dr. Zaman’s and that is to treat each patient as we would a family member. She is comfortable caring for patients, from the very young to the young at heart. About Dr. Nunn

Clay Nunn, DDS, has been providing dental services for over 20 years within Cypress, Klein, and Tomball, Texas. Dr. Nunn is proud to serve the needs of these communities at his private practice, Nunn Family Dentistry..

Dr. Nunn attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. After college, he completed a year of research that studied cardiovascular health in children. He then attended The University of Texas Dental School in Houston, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

After earning his degrees, Dr. Nunn completed extensive post-graduate training in complex restorative and cosmetic procedures through the acclaimed Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. He also completed advanced training in aesthetic restorative continuum at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.

Dr. Nunn currently lives in Montgomery, where he and his wife Kim have raised their three daughters Jordan, Ashley, and Caroline. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys the outdoors, exercising, and watching Aggie football.

Dr. Tej Diah graduated from Florida State University in 2006 earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Physiology.  He returned to Florida State University and joined the nationally renowned Graduate Skeletal Muscle Lab where he authored 6 scientific publications and earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Human Physiology in 2009.  He taught college level physiology classes all across Florida and was selected to teach MCAT and DAT prep courses for students aspiring to enter medical and dental school with Kaplan Inc.  After moving to Miami, FL he earned an additional Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University in 2012.  He then commissioned in the Navy via the Healthcare Professions Scholarship Program before getting accepted to 6 dental schools. 

Dr. Diah attended Roseman University College of Dentistry in Utah and graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2017.  While in school, he met his wife and the two were married shortly after dental school.  Upon graduation, Dr. Diah commissioned as a Navy Lieutenant and completed his credentialing tour at Naval Air Station Jacksonville in 2018.  Over the next 2 years, he served over 1200 marines and sailors as the dental department head, medical triage officer, and led the COVID task force while out at sea on the USS SAN ANTONIO.  Before leaving the Navy, he worked in a large multi specialty clinic treating Navy Seals in Virginia Beach.  

Dr. Diah is licensed to provide oral sedation and nitrous oxide administration.  He is actively pursuing exclusive fellowships at the Las Vegas Institute of Dental Studies (LVI) in addition to the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).  Dr. Diah served our country and the spirit of Texas out at sea, and now proudly serves The Woodlands, TX where he, his wife, and 2 children now call home.
