Dr. James Ryee brings over 17 years of private practice experience to C&R Dental Care, providing expert general and cosmetic dentistry across all three locations—Centreville and Tysons, Virginia, and Columbia, Maryland. His comprehensive approach and gentle touch have earned the trust of patients seeking everything from routine care to advanced implant treatments.
Born in Korea and raised in Ohio and Maryland, Dr. Ryee graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School and completed a general practice residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, demonstrating his commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in dental care.
With extensive experience in general dentistry, cosmetic procedures, and dental implants, Dr. Ryee is uniquely qualified to restore function and beauty to your smile with the most modern and proven techniques.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ryee enjoys spending time with his wife, Jasmine, and their two children, Zoe and Matthew. He also loves playing basketball, biking, and fishing whenever he can.

Originally from New Jersey, Keehong Kwon, DDS, has come to be a highly respected and valued member of the First Smile Dental team in Alexandria, Virginia, providing his patients with a combination of compassionate care and expert knowledge. Dr. Kwon specializes in a wide range of general dentistry procedures, helping his patients maintain their oral health and well-being throughout their lives.
Dr. Kwon attended Cornell University in New York for his undergraduate studies, completing a Bachelor of Arts. He discovered his passion for dentistry while volunteering with a dental mission to Honduras, and shortly thereafter enrolled in the prestigious Columbia University College of Dentistry and Oral Surgery in New York. Dr. Kwon graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years, earning a reputation as a caring and conscientious provider.
Dr. Kwon is proud to be a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry. In 2011, he moved to Virginia to continue practicing dentistry, as well as raise his family. In his free time, Dr. Kwon enjoys playing basketball, golf, and tennis, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
