Amy Ton, DDS, is an experienced general and cosmetic dentist serving patients at Sunrise Dental in Reston, Virginia. Dr. Ton cares deeply about her patients and passionately provides exceptional and gentle dental care to them in a warm, comfortable, and personal environment.
A northern Virginia native, Dr. Ton graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in Spanish. She then went on to complete a one-year special science post-baccalaureate program at The University of Pennsylvania before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School. As a strong advocate of lifelong learning, Dr. Ton enhanced and furthered her education and skills by completing two additional years of a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. As a chief resident, she was trained to treat more advanced cases in many aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Ton is Invisalign-certified and has a fellowship with the California Implant Institute. Dr. Ton actively attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry, and she maintains professional memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Through her many years of commitment to dental excellence, Dr. Ton has been recognized as one of America’s Best Dentists by the National Consumer Advisory Board for 2018 and 2019. She was also listed in Virginia Living Magazine as one of the Top Dentists in Virginia for 2020. Dr. Ton’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, arts and crafts, and music. Hiba Zakhour, DDS, grew up in Fairfax County with an early passion for healthcare. She is a skilled general dentist who has a strong desire to serve her community, which she is able to do A to Z Dental Studio in Fairfax, Virginia.
Dr. Zakhour worked as a dental assistant during college and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. In 2012, Dr. Zakhour received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. As a dental student, she volunteered with several organizations such as Give Kids A Smile and Oral Cancer research fundraisers.
After medical school, Dr. Zakhour continued to pursue her passion for dentistry by joining a general practice residency program at Coler-Goldwater Hospital in New York City. There, she received training in several areas of cosmetic dentistry, including implants, veneers, and Invisalign.
