My first visit with Dr. Yazdani and the office staff at Revive well exceeded my expectations. Dr. Yazdani was empathetic, knowledgeable, and just an all around awesome dentist. The Dr. provided me with a clear picture (quite liteShow morerally) of areas of my dental health that need to be addressed - and even took the time to compliment the areas of my dental health that were in good standing, which I have never experienced from a dentist and that level of attention went a long way in affirming that I made the right decision by calling Revive. Dr. Yazdani helped me understand a clear path of where we could go with my dental health while taking my schedule and budget into account. The office staff was amazing too! They were incredibly friendly and professional and made sure I understood everything that took place that day and what’s to expect for future appointments. I never thought I would say I was excited to go back to a dentist- but I can now say that I am, at least, as excited as I can be for my future appointments because I know I will be in good hands. I have a dentist phobia. I also need a lot of work done. First visit to Dr. Yazdani and felt at ease after meeting everyone. Very professional but empathetic atmosphere. I learned more about my dental issues and as they relate to Show moreother health issues. The actual dental work was done quickly and efficiently in a relaxed atmosphere. Every effort was made to make me comfortable. The doctor was more than willing to teach when asked. Most pleasant visit I’ve ever had. Will be going back.
Expert dentist Shila Yazdani, DDS, brings more than two decades of experience in implant, neuromuscular, and cosmetic dentistry to Revive Dentistry, serving the men and women in and around Washington, D.C.
Dr. Yazdani obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. There, she was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society.
Dr. Yazdani subsequently attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following graduation, she participated in post-doctoral training in implantology and treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Dr. Yazdani also received post-doctoral instruction at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada. This unique program provides training in advanced, comprehensive cosmetic dentistry that most dental schools lack. Each year, Dr. Yazdani returns to the institute to augment her professional skills.
As a dentist, Dr. Yazdani loves working with her patients. She always sets aside time to understand each individual’s unique concerns and develops treatments based on their health history, budget, and goals.
