Dr. Steven Guttmann, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He received his BA in psychology from Brooklyn College/CUNY and went on to receive his medical degree from Sackler University. Steven completed his medical residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. After serving as Chief Medical Resident he completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center.
Following fellowship, Dr. Guttmann served as a staff attending at Forest Hill-Long Island Jewish Hospital as well as the Director of Endoscopy. He subsequently went on to run a busy inpatient gastroenterology service at Long Island Jewish and North Shore University Hospitals/Northwell.
Dr. Guttmann is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hofstra University Medical School and has numerous national publications and presentations on gastrointestinal topics. His interests include general luminal gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, hepato-pancreaticobiliary disease, and therapeutic GI.

Dr. Anthony Ng, M.D., is a leading gastroenterologist dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care to patients from Brooklyn, New York to Lower Manhattan, New York, and throughout the Greater New York City metro region. I practice traditional Mt. Sinai trained medicine, with a great appreciation for Integrative and alternative approaches. I look for the latest high-tech approaches including genetic testing, neurocognitive screening, and testing with ‘liquid biopsies’ by a blood test that picks up very early cancers.
I am very open to questions, and I have many years of extensive relationships with excellent subspecialists in various hospitals around the city.

Zachary Marwil, MD, is a highly respected and sought-after gastroenterologist on Long Island. Dr. Marwil is a partner at Gastrointestinal Specialists of Long Island (GISLI) and also serves as the managing director at the Northwell Health Endoscopy Center of Long Island. Jeffery Novak, MD, FACG, is a gastroenterologist and partner at Gastrointestinal Specialists of Long Island (GISLI) located in Wantagh and Malverne, New York. He is also a founding member of the Endoscopy Center of Long Island in Garden City, New York. He has been serving patients in the area since 1998.
Dr. Novak earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Trinity College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received several academic honors.
