Zafar Zamir, MD, FACG, AGAF is a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist who has been caring for the Hamilton community for decades. He earned his Medical Degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan, and completed his Residency Training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Zamir has a particular interest in IBS and General Gastroenterology, including hemorrhoids and other ano-rectal disorders. Dr. Zamir has held a variety of leadership roles in the local community, including as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers RWJ Medical School and as President of the Medical Staff at RWJ University Hospital Hamilton.
