About Maniya Health
Our Story
In 1973, the late Dr. Nisar Ahmed started a primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality & personalized medical care to his patients and the community. He valued the relationships he built with his patients and was remembered for never missing a patient's funeral. In 1999, Dr. Mariam Maniya took over and infused the practice with her passion for getting to know her patients holistically as a person and always putting the patient's needs first. 50 years later, despite our growth, we're still family & physician owned and operated, and we still believe creating and nurturing lasting personal relationships with our patients is the most important thing we do. We also believe the point of a doctor is to be there when you need them most, and we work daily to live up to that promise. That's what distinguishes Maniya Health from the big hospital systems and the national franchises where patients are treated like a number.
In 2020, as COVID exposed how broken the health care system was, Dr. Omar Maniya recognized that we had to reinvent ourselves. Using technology like telemedicine and connected devices, we reimagined our care model to bring it into the 21st century. We also reimagined the entire patient experience - it's easy for doctors to say "do this test" or "see this specialist," but actually getting it done can sometimes feel impossible. That's why we eliminated our no-show and cancellation policy - we get it, life happens. And that's also why we incorporated rapid COVID/Flu testing, on-site labs & radiology, evening hours until 8pm, guaranteed same-day appointments, walk-in visits, telehealth and speciality care.
In addition to Primary Care & Urgent Care, we also offer on-site Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, Neurology, Rheumatology, General Surgery, Podiatry, Joint Injections, IV Infusions, Physical Therapy, Radiology & Dietitians. We've been fortunate to have recruited an amazing team of Physicians who are leaders in their fields to provide our patients with the highest quality care. Additionally, our 50 years of experience in the community has allowed us to form deep relationships with local hospitals and specialists, so if we don't offer the treatment we can guide & coordinate our patients' care locally with other Practices and help them navigate the system.
Over the last few years, our patients have fallen in love with our care model, convenient one-stop shop experience, and our philosophy. They have ranked us higher on Google Reviews with 4.9 stars and ~1,000 reviews than every single hospital in the state and higher than every single top hospital in the nation for our patient experience. We have also received numerous awards and recognitions, including ranking in the top 5% for high quality clinical care in New Jersey.
Currently, we provide Primary Care, Urgent Care & Specialty Care across our 3 locations in Hamilton, NJ, Robbinsville, NJ & Hopewell, NJ, and we are open Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm & Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
