D. David Ezeanolue, M.D., brings a wealth of experience to Apex Medical Center. With more than 25 years in practice, Dr. Ezeanolue has amassed many impressive skills that he uses to treat patients from in and around Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada.

Dr. Ezeanolue began his education at the esteemed University of Nigeria College of Medicine where he was a medical and surgical graduate. He went on to do an internship at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he also completed his internship in internal medicine.

Additional experience came through his position as chief resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition to his formal medical training, Dr. Ezeanolue has embraced a lifetime love of learning and has taken numerous opportunities to enrich his understanding of a wide range of medical specialties.

Alafuro T. Oruene, M.D., is a valued member of the Apex Medical Center team. A board-eligible physician in both internal medicine and pain medicine, Dr. Oruene is a valuable resource to the greater Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada, community.

Dr. Oruene began his studies at the University of Nigeria in Lagos, Nigeria. He then earned his medical degree from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital. An internship at Port-of-Spain General Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago further expanded Dr. Oruene’s skill set. While in Trinidad and Tobago, he also completed a residency in anesthesiology at Mount Hope Hospital.  Dr. Oruene pursued a second residency in internal medicine through the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine at North General Hospital in New York. A fellowship in interventional pain management at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center provided an in-depth period of training.

Vikas Sayal, MD, FCCP, is board certified in Pulmonary medicine, and Critical Care medicine and experienced in Sleep medicine for 15 years. He’s the founder of Pulmonology Group- Lung Specialist in Las Vegas, Henderson, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona, a medical practice that specializes in treating the full range of lung and respiratory conditions. Dr. Sayal is also on staff at most hospitals in the area and serves as a intensivist and pulmonologist at different hospitals.

Dr. Sayal trained at the world-renowned Yale University, where he received fellowship training in Pulmonary medicine, then went on to complete his fellowship in Critical Care at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I chose this field because I have always been drawn to helping people through the most difficult parts of their lives. Being able to help someone feel more grounded, more hopeful, and more themselves again is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
