Dr. Myriam Sterlin is a double-board-certified internal medicine and infectious disease physician at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, who sees patients at the West Orange, Maplewood, and South Orange offices.
Dr. Sterlin studied at Université d'État d'Haïti, Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, earning her medical degree. After graduation, she completed two internal medicine residencies: the first at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and the second at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), both in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Sterlin also completed an infectious disease fellowship at UMDNJ.
Dr. Sterlin diagnoses and treats acute and chronic health problems, but she has a special interest in allied illnesses and infectious diseases. Dr. Sterlin is especially knowledgeable in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Dr. Sterlin is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She’s also a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) and the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad.

Gitendra Rajiyah, MD, is a double-board-certified internal medicine physician and cardiologist at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, serving patients at the East Orange, New Jersey, office on Evergreen Place. The practice also has offices in West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Newark, and Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Dr. Rajiyah studied at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He then spent several years gaining experience in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, neurology, geriatrics, and psychology.
In 1988, Dr. Rajiyah enrolled at the University of London in the United Kingdom and completed an internal medicine and psychiatry fellowship at the University College Hospital. He moved to the United States the following year and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark.
Dr. Rajiyah also spent one year as a dedicated researcher under the guidance of Timothy Reagan, MD, chairman of the Division of Cardiology at New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) Rutgers Health. He also completed a cardiology fellowship, serving patients at several hospitals throughout New Jersey.
Dr. Rajiyah is board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He’s also a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the British Medical Association, and the Sri Lanka Medical Association.
While Dr. Rajiyah specializes in internal medicine and cardiology, he also has a special interest in gastroenterology. He is very active in the New Jersey medical community and serves on the Critical Care Committee at East Orange General Hospital and served as chief of cardiology there between 2005-2009.

Mamatha Mohan, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, providing outstanding health care. The practice has locations in East Orange, West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Newark, and Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Dr. Mohan was born and raised in India. She studied at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, Telangana, India, earning her medical degree. After graduation, Dr. Mohan completed a medical internship at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, in Hyderabad, India, before moving to the United States.
Upon arriving in America, Dr. Mohan completed an internal medicine residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey. She excelled in the program, becoming chief resident in her final year.
At The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, Dr. Mohan provides preventive, primary, and chronic care. She loves building strong and lasting relationships with her patients and feels honored to play an active role in keeping them healthy and well.
Dr. Mohan is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She’s also a member of several professional organizations, including the Female Physician Group of New Jersey, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Mohan enjoys traveling and watching movies. She’s also an avid cook who likes preparing new recipes for her family.

Deborah Seymour APRN began her medical career in London, England, where she graduated from the Royal Free School of Nursing in 1993. She is a board-certified acute adult gerontology specialist with over 30 years' experience in caring for the older adult.
She attended Sacred Heart University where she obtained her Bachelor's degree, and practiced in critical care at UCONN Medical Center, St Francis Hospital in the cardiac ICU and the Emergency Room.
Deborah did her graduate studies at the University of Connecticut. Following graduation, she practiced in the Cardiac ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was a clinical faculty member at Yale University School of Nursing.
Deborah has practiced at many of Connecticut’s hospitals, including UCONN Medical Center, St Francis Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital, Backus Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, Middlesex Hospital and Hospital of Central Connecticut.
She now practices in internal medicine and specializes in chronic disease management.
Dr. Yelyzaveta Prysyazhnyuk is a compassionate and highly trained physician with a strong commitment to advancing mental health care. She brings a rich background in internal medicine and a deep interest in the intersection of physical and mental well-being to her role at Vital Psych MD LLC.
Dr. Prysyazhnyuk completed her undergraduate studies at Barnard College of Columbia University before earning her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell NS/LIJ, where she also obtained certifications as a clinician educator and in lifestyle medicine.

Her clinical experience and academic foundation have shaped her integrative approach, helping achieving overall well-being and a lasting change.
My role involves educating and facilitating Medicaid and Medicare enrollment while maintaining communication with government agencies. I also contribute to policy development, ensuring efficient access to healthcare. Navigating Medicaid and Medicare systems, collaborating with entities like Maximus, and providing staff training to navigate these systems efficiently are all part of my responsibilities in our dynamic and ever-changing environment.
Dr. David M. Radin attended college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Radin relocated to Stamford, CT in 1993 and joined the Medical Staff at Stamford Hospital and opened his own private practice in 1998.
Dr. Radin has had a continuing interest in the promotion of medical science. He has been an investigator in over 60 clinical research studies on a broad range of medication, disease state, anti-infective, transplant, metabolic, cardiovascular, and pain management trials. His extensive experience working with industry leaders provides him a unique insider’s perspective on cutting-edge advancements in medicine that could benefit his patients.
