Mary Alaina Burbage graduated with a Master of Science Nurse Practitioner degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Nursing from Georgetown University. She has been working in primary care as a family NP since 2016. Before that, she was an RN at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Ramzan M. Zakir, MD, RPVI, FACC, FSCAI, is an interventional vascular specialist at Cardiac & Vascular Interventions of New Jersey. He specializes in minimally invasive treatments for patients in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who suffer from vascular disease.
Dr. Zakir is recognized by the International Association of Top Professionals as the Top Interventional Cardiologist of the Year for 2021. He is currently the Director of High-Risk PCI and Research at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas University Hospital, practices at RWJPE Heart and Vascular Institute of Central Jersey, and is an invited speaker at regional and global conferences.
Since 2009, in his role as an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Zakir has performed thousands of successful angioplasty procedures.
