Patients throughout Bradenton, Florida, can get the care they need for hormonal imbalances and management of chronic conditions at The Blend Institute (TBI). The clinic’s founding director, Timothy Blend, MD, offers modern, innovative treatments for minor to complex health issues.
After Dr. Blend completed his undergraduate studies, he earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. He went through his required residency training at Kings County Hospital Center and University Hospital State University of New York (SUNY), both in the greater New York City area. Dr. Blend also completed fellowship training in anti-aging and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Blend works alongside his nurse practitioner wife, Kimberly Blend, ARNP. They founded The Blend Institute after Kimberly was experiencing side effects of perimenopause. Because Dr. Blend is double board-certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine, he’s able to help patients who have complex or severe conditions. Many patients who struggle with anxiety, heart palpitations, and mood swings, can finally get relief after starting individualized bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
As a specially-trained internal medicine practitioner, Dr. Blend has extensive training in medical weight loss, hypothyroidism, insomnia, and diabetes, to name a few. His background and experience make him the ideal physician for men, women, and transgender patients who haven’t had success with treatments in the past. He welcomes new patients to the practice.
